Chapter 2

I woke up to see Robert looking at my scratch book of all the pictures I took in Minnesota. " well good morning to you to." I said sitting up and stretching. " Hey babe who is this?" he said pointing at a picture of me and my older brother Noah who died in the army. " That's Noah and me when he came home for my birthday. He wanted to surprise me so he showed up to my cheerleader practice. That's before I dyed my hair, pierced my nose and got tattoos. Noah's  my brother he died in the army two years ago. But after my birthday he had to go back and a couple hours later he died to a shot in the chest." I said as he sat on the edge of my bed and he rubbed his fingers through my hair "I'm sorry baby girl I didn't know." he said as he pulled me closer to him. A tear rolled down my face. He hugged me tighter, and let me cry. I don't often cry but when I do it's not for long. "Remember what i said last night we're going on a date. Come on get dressed meet me outside." he said getting up and grabbing his jacket and his keys " ready to go.?" I said just before  he left the room. He turned around and smiled at me and then he left the room . I walked into my closet and grabbed an outfit (outfit at top). I headed downstairs to see Robert in the kitchen talking to my mom. " Good morning sweetie. Looks like you're taking the day off........" I wasn't really sure how she would react. when it comes to school she's pretty strict " as long as if you two are safe and you make sure you get all your homework tomorrow!" she said with a little grin " Thanks mom you're the best!" I ran up and gave her a hug. " Awe you're welcome princess." she said as I ran out the door. Me and Robert got on his bike and drove to a small wooded area. i got off and and then he did. He grabbed a bag and then gestured for me to hold his hand so i went ahead and accepted . We walked for a good 5 minutes until we came across a huge waterfall. "whoa how'd you find this place?'' i asked looking at the blue water crashing into crystal clear water where beautiful colored rocks were visible. He put the bag down and grabbed one of my bikini that was black and teal lace. "hey where did you get this from?" i said grabbing it out of his hand. " when we were unpacking i decided to grab it for today." he said and got changed in some swim trunks. Wow he's freaking hot . he seems really nice maybe this will work out. I thought not realizing that i was just sitting there staring at him. "Take a picture it'll last longer cutie" he said with a chuckle. I got changed and walked out from behind a huge rock to see him in the water " dang girl look at you!" he said walking towards me all i could do was blush. He grabbed me hand and motioned for me to follow him. we climbed up the cliff till we were finally looking down the waterfall. I'm really scared of heights so i grabbed robert's arm and pulled him back a little "what's wrong liz?" he said putting his hand on my arm "I....I'm scared of heights.'' i said trying to sound brave but there wasn't even a drop of it in me "I'll help you get over your fear" he chuckled then picked me up and jumped. I bobbed in and out of the water then finally was able to swim my way to robert "wow that was fun!" i said then he hugged me and said "i knew that'd help!". we did it again a couple more times and then decided to go out for dinner. We stopped at a little restaurant called the Eclipse Cafe. We finished there and headed home, he pulled up in his driveway and walked me to my house " thanks for an amazing day i had a lot of fun" i said smiling at him looking into his beautiful green eyes" anytime babygirl" he said wrapping his arms around my waist with our lips inches away he leaned close and kissed me. Sparks flew it was like a thousand fireworks went off. We said good bye and i ran up stairs and got ready for bed as i drifted away i quietly said "Night pretty boy"
