I see Marcus grinning weirdly...

I see Marcus and Martinus thinking weirdly at each other...
What would they be thinking of?
I opened the second gift, it was clearly from Marcus, because it said:
FROM MARCUS!!!
I saw the gift suddenly moving.
It jumped on me!😳
"OMG it's a puppy!" I screamed enthouiastically.
I hugged Marcus like a freak!
"Thanks Marcus" I whispered while hugging him.
"It's nothing!" he whispered back with a soft warm voice in my ears.
He held me tighter.
I could hug like this for hours!
I quickly opened Martinus's present, because he looked jealous.
*Opens Martinus's gift*
Oh! Martinus that's really pretty!
It's a beautiful dress!
And it's my favorite color: blue!💙
I hugged Martinus and after a few seconds we let go.
"I'm going to putt this dress on!" I said happy.
"Okay!" everyone replied who heard me.
I went to my room and put the dress on. I looked into the mirror...
"Omg it's so beautiful!" I said smiling to myself.😄
I quickly ran downstairs and let everyone see Martinus's dress that I put on!
"Eveline you look really beautiful!" everyone said enthusiastically.
"Thank you everyone!" I replied blushing.
I saw Marcus looking sad...
I feel really guilty now.
Marcus's POV:
I... I...
I couldn't say a word.
I had the feeling that my gift wasn't good enough! I'm so stupid!
Why don't I just say what I feel for her!
I know we're still very young...
Only 5 years old.
It's actually pretty young now, now I think of it that way...

Marcus's sad face was instantly gone again!
"Finally..." I said sighing.

The day passed quickly.
Everyone was happy on Valentine's Day!
And certainly Eveline on her birthday, of course!
What could've Marcus asked to her?
