"Don't be angry Eveline!" Mackenzie said scared.😨
I nodded to reassure her.
"Well I don't know Angel personally. But I do know who she is..." she replied.
"Who is she?!" I asked angry.😠
"She's the girlfriend of Martinus..." she replied scared.
"Seriously? Like a relationship relationship? For real?" I asked.
"Since two days ago!" she said.
"And are they still together now?" I asked shocked.😨
"Yes, but there is a rumor that Martinus is going to break up with her." she replied.
"How? Why?" I asked surprised.
"Well I guess, because he wants to ask you." she said enthusiastically.
"And you think it goes like this?
He is with Angel, now he wants a relationship with me, so he just breaks up with Angel?" I asked angry.😠
"Don't be mad at me Eveline! You schould ask Marcus!" she replied.
I nodded.
"Are you going to accept it?" she asked.
"Accept what?" I asked back.
"If he asks you as his girlfriend?" she asked curiously.
"I don't know Mackenzie..." I said sad.😔
"If I were you I'll do it though!" she said happy.
"Okay, okay..." I said disappointed.
"Pretend you don't know anything Mackenzie!" I said.
"I will!" she said winking.😉
So I will accept it...
I don't want to fight with Angel...
I'm not going to kiss him though!
"Let's go back" I said.
She nodded.
We walked back to the table where Marcus and Martinus were still sitting.
...Back arriving at the table...
"Here we are again!" Mackenzie said excited.
"Glad you guys are back!" Martinus said excited.
I didn't say anything back.
I ignored him completely.
There was an awkward silence for a moment...😶
Until suddenly...
"So..." Marcus said.
"Sooo..." I replied.
"Did I say something wrong Eveline?" Martinus asked sadly.😓
"..."
Mackenzie kicked me on my foot.
"N-no though!" I stuttered.
"Gladly!" Martinus said with relief.
We ate our food.
After the main dish comes the dessert.
...Once the dessert arrived...
"We didn't ordered a dessert?" I asked confused.
"Indeed!" Marcus said.
"We ordered the dessert for you guys!" Martinus said happy.
"Awhh, so sweet!" Mackenzie said to Marcus.
"Yeahh... also thank my brother for it!" Marcus replied.
"Uhm okay, thank you Martinus." Mackenzie said.
