"Are you okay? I heard you scream," my father said as he rushed into my room. "This is the third night in a row."

I didn't know how to tell him that I keep having the same dream. He would think I was crazy. What if I am going insane?

"Yes, I'm fine it was just another bad dream. It is nothing to worry about. I promise, father," I assured him, even though I was worried. "Is is okay if I go for a walk around town with Sebastian after breakfast? We will stay out of trouble, father."

"Yes, that is fine. You two need to be careful," he said. He always said that, but this time was different. It was as if something was wrong.

"We always are," I said a little confused.

After breakfast, Sebastian came to get me for our walk. I knew Sebastian could tell that something was wrong, but he didn't want to ask in front of my parents.

"Are you okay? You seem upset," said Sebastian. "You aren't this quite, unless something is wrong."

"I had the dream, again..." I told him. "What if this is sign that something horrible is going to happen to me? I am so scared..." I could feel the tears begin to run done my cheeks.

He quickly hugged me. I always felt safe with him. He is my best friend. I don't know what I would do if he ever left.

"Elizabeth, listen to me. I will be right by your side when you need me. You are not going crazy," he said. He wiped the tears from my cheeks and kissed my forehead. "Nothing is going to happen to you while I am here and I hope you know that. Elizabeth, you are my best friend."
