Time for a Plan

"Elizabeth? Sebastian is here," my mother said as she came into my room. "Are you awake?"

"Yes, I am just brushing my hair," I replied. "I will be out in a second."

When I finished, we sat down for breakfast. After we ate, Sebastian and I left the house.

"What happened to your hand," asked Sebastian.

I looked at my hand as remembered what had happened the previous night.

"I scratched it as I was existing the old Opera House. It's​ nothing, really," I said with a little laugh.

Sebastian had a look of surprise on his face. "You went into there? Alone?"

"I woke up there last night," I told him as I stopped walking. "Sebastian, I have to go back tonight. I don't know what, but something is there for me. I can feel it,"

"What? No, I can't let you go back in there." There was a bit of anger in his voice. "Are you crazy?"

"There is something in there. I need to find it," I said. "Will you please go with me? I need my best friend."

He hesitated before answering. "Of course I will. You really think I would let you go in that place alone," he said with a little sarcasm. "Do you have a master plan?"

"No, that's why I need you," I said as we started walking again. "You always have the best plans."

He smiled down at me, "Alright, I've got it."

I was shocked at how fast he thought up a plan. "Already, but I just told you."

Before we started to discuss the plan, we found a quiet place, where no one would hear us.

"First, we will wait until midnight. Next, we meet behind the abandoned house down the street from you. Then, we quickly, yet secretly, make our way to the Opera House. When we get there, we will sneak in through where you got out. We explore inside and we get out," he said. "That's the plan."

Finally after going over the plan several times, we said goodnight and waited for the stroke of midnight.
