He runs towards the lodge banging on the door. "Alice! Alice! Open the door now! "Alice quickly opens the door letting James in. She closes the door and looks at the frightened James. "J-James, what happened? Where's Melissa? Where's Daniel? "He pants heavily as he paced back and forth trying to piece together, avoiding Alice's questions." James, please answer me! What happened? "He stops on his tracks, and glances at Alice with an expression on his face that sent chills down her spine. He walks towards her, and grabs her shoulders with trembling hands. "We-We need to get out of here, Alice. We need to leave now! Grab your things, and let's go. "

James runs towards his luggage and packs everything as Alice looked at him with both a confusing and panicking expression. She says with a slight panic, "James, please tell me. What's going on? What happened to Daniel and Melissa? Where are they? "James stops what he was doing and looks down to the floor as Alice didn't know what he saw. Finally, he decided to tell her what he witnessed out there as he took a deep breath. He says looking at Alice, "Melissa and I did find Daniel, but.." Alice looks up with happiness but her smile quickly fades away as she saw tears welling down James' face. "We found Daniel in the power room, but he.. I'm so sorry Alice, but Daniel's gone. Someone or something drowned him, and placed him in the power room where he was turning on the power for us. We suddenly encountered something in there, something not human. We ran away from there, but Melissa and I lost each other in the fog. When I did find her, she was-she was dead the same way Daniel was when we found him. Something really bad happened here in this camp years ago. I think that what the newspapers said, the stories and rumors, and the disappearances. They're all true, everything is true. We have to get out of here Alice, or we'll be next." Alice looks at him with teary eyes as she heard that her boyfriend was gone, and that he was never coming back.

They pack up their stuff, and head towards the van as James opened the door. Just as they were planning to escape the cursed camp, James realizes that the keys to the van were missing. "Oh crap, the keys aren't in here. Daniel must have them last. I'll have to go get them. Stay here in the van, and lock the doors. Do not open the door until I come back, okay?" James starts to reach for the door as Alice stopped him begging him to not go out there. "No, please. Don't leave me alone in here. I'm scared. I don't want you to go out there because I'm afraid that you might never come back. I can't lose you too after I lost Daniel and Melissa." James touches her hand to reassure her that everything will be okay. He reaches for the door handle and opens it, getting out of the van. He signals Alice to lock all of the doors as he walked towards the power building holding his flashlight. He looks inside the building and walks around to look for Daniel's deceased body.

As soon as he went to the spot where they found Daniel, he discovers that the body was missing. He looks around and hears a creak noise from behind him. He slowly turns around to see the corpse of his best friend standing in front him, still in his current state.
