We, Marlene, Christina and I, are sitting in the diningroom. They made loads of dauntless cake and we can eat as much as we want. I look around and seriously everybody here eats dauntless cake, even the instructors, Four and Eric, are eating like they never had food. "I think I ate too much dauntless cake, I feel so sick." I say. Christina and Marlene share a look and start laughing. "You can never have too much dauntless cake, it must be something else." Marlene says. I shrug and start to think, I didn't eat anything else today... "I know" I say "I can't eat too much of it but it tasted weird.." "Mine tasted delicious as always, now let's throw some knives!" Marlene says and gets up. "I'm not coming with you this time.. sorry" I stand up and as I turn around I see the floor coming closer and everything is black, the last thing I know is Marlene shouting something and Christina running away.
I open my eyes a bit and directly notice the strong arms that carry me. I try to look up who it is but when I move my head I feel an intense pain and black out again. When I open my eyes again and find myself in a bed, I know it's not my own, too unfamiliar. "How do you feel?" A voice asks. I try to turn my head to see who it is, but it hurts too much. "Not good obivously.." The voice talking to me is a man's voice, low, and... sexy... I hear his footsteps and he sits down where I can see him. Oh my... I'm in an instructors bed. "Four." Is the only thing I say. "Don't call me that." His sexy voice makes my heart beat faster. "Then what is your name?" "I'm Tris." I say. "Oh you were the best initiate in the group I heard." He said, and smiled. Eric was my instructor and Four was leading the group. "Who told you that?" I couldn't help myself wondering why someone like him would talk about me. "How about everyone? You were the best in the group, of course they talk." He almost sounded... proud? I blush and am very happy when he says he will bring me some water. When he returns he sits down next to me on the bed. "Can you sit?" He asks, and I nodd, but when I actually try, my head spins so bad I have to lay down again. He takes a pillow and slowly takes my head to put it on it. "Thank you." I whisper. "Take a nap, Tris, I will be right back." He says. but I stop him. "Wait, Four, what happend? I only remember the floor coming close and Christina running away after Marlene shouted something." He sighs and turns around with his hand on the doorknob. "Call me Tobias, and your head hit a table pretty hard when you fell." He says and leaves. Where have I heard that name before? Tobias... I look around as far as I can with my hurting head but he hasn't any pictures and everything is so clean and ordered. Speaking of, where is he?
After a while I hear footsteps in the hallway and thinking it's Tobias I pretend to be asleep. I hear him talking outside the bedroom. "Yeah I didn't told her yet. First she has to recover." "She deserves to know it!" I think that last one came from Zeke, his best friend. I deserve to know what? I try to get up but the door opens and I fall way too hard back on the pillow and I moan, that hurt. I hear him laugh, "What were you trying to do?" He asks. He walks to me and helps me back to a right position. "Trying to get away, because obviously I deserve to know something you won't tell me." I say, getting his hands off me. "I just don't want to worry you, but fine, we know the reason you passed out. Peter put something in your dauntless cake." "He did what?! FILTHY ASSHOLE" I scream, fighting against Tobias' arms that hold me back. "HE'S GONNA PAY FOR IT, PAY FOR IT, I'M SERIOUS!" "Come on Tris! Keep calm! I knew you were going to react like this!" "Well sorry I just don't like being poisened!" I scream. "I know but you're not well now! You need rest, come on sit still and take a nap, we'll get him later." That calms me down a bit, and I lean with my pounding head against the pillow, I guess the riot against Tobias' arms wasn't good for my head. I close my eyes and feel myself drifting to sleep, the bed shakes a little as Tobias gets up and before he closes the door I hear him saying "Goodnight Tris."
