I wake up and hear a shower. For moment I wonder where I am, but than I feel the pain again and I remember everything. I try to think my way out, Tobias is in the shower, which means he's naked and I'm in his bed... what to do what to do. I start panicking even more when I hear him putting off the shower.I turn on my left side and try to act that I'm still sleeping. "Please don't come in naked, please don't come in naked!" I whisper to myself. Well, I thought only I could hear it... "I'm not naked" His voice says. I turn red and look at him ashamed. He is also red and gives me a weird look. I see that he is wearing a shirt and jeans. "How are you feeling?" He asks, turning away from me. I look at his muscular arms while he runs his hand through his hair. His hair is still wet and it makes him look very attractive. "I'm fine." I say. "You think you can walk?" He asks me. I smile and nodd, my head feels a lot better, it still hurts, but it feels better. "I think I can." I say."Good" he says, still not looking at me. "First you need to eat something, I will bring some cake for you. Without poison.""Yeah I'm kinda hungry..." I say. I see a light smile on his face before he turns to the door."I'll be right back, stay here. You can take a shower too if you want." He adds quickly. "Okay thanks." I nodd at him and he closes the door behind him.
I think about it but then shake my head, why would I shower here, in his room, when I have an own shower in my own room? I know Molly, Peter and Drew will be there too. But I don't want them to think that I'm afraid of them. Or they think that I showered with him... Then I was immediately a victim in the initiate group and that's not what I want.
A few minutes later Four walked back into the room and gave me a piece of Dauntless cake. "In a hour the training begins. Do you think you will be able to be there?" I eat the cake and moan, this tastes waaay better than the ones I had.. wait when? Did I sleep here through the night? Still confused about the time I say "Yeah I think so, I have to face them anyways, I hope Eric is kind today" I hear him sigh. "Yeah I hope so too, but not much change. He is angry because he lost yesterday." "Because of capture the flag? I can't help it I climbed that ferriswheel and saw them... oh Tobias?" When I say his name I see him smile. "Yeah Tris?" he asks me. He is still smiling that beautiful smile and for a moment the only thing I can do is stare at him. "Don't look at me like that..." He says and turns away again. "Sorry.." I say quickly. "It's just how long did I sleep here?" "The whole night. It is 6:30 am now. I don't know if you want to go back to your room before the others wake up." He tells me.
The whole night? But where the hell did he sleep? "Uh yeah I think so, can you help me up?" I ask. And before I can ask it he tells me that he slept on the ground, which makes me blush because he knew what I was thinking off. "Don't worry about it. It is not that bad." He smiles at me while he helps me to get up. But of course, even if I chose dauntless, I trip over my own feet and fall forward but he catches me. I awkwardly release myself from him and take a step back. "Thank you" I whisper. I hear him grin but I don't dare to look at him. "You sure you can walk?" He asks me with a big smile on his face now. "Ofcourse I can." I tell him.
I walk to the door with a shy smile and turn before I close it, "Thanks, Tobias, for letting me sleep here and taking care of me, see you in training, today we get mixed right? You and Eric and dauntless born with new initiates?" He nodds and I leave his room.
I walk back to my room and see that the others are gone, probably having breakfast. I shower quickly and when I walk out of the bathroom Christina is waiting for me. "Where have you been? How are you feeling?" "I'm fine now, Four took care of me." She shoots me a suprised look "You were with Four all night? Oh my, did something happen? Did you sleep together?" I start laughing "No ofcourse not! I slept in his bed and he on the floor." That is everything. Her mouth falls open even more. "You slept in his béd? This is bad, this so so bad, Tris." I look at her questioning "what? What is so wrong about it? We didn't even touch each other!" I say to her. "Don't you get it Tris? He let you sleep in his bed!" Christina says. "Yeah? So?" I ask. She smiles "You can't go out with one of the instructors! They might as well kick you out of dauntless!" "They can't do that! And I'm not going out with him! I passed out and he took care of me, that is all that happened!" Christina wiggled her eyebrows "Sure babe, call me if you need some love advice." Christina's moods could change so fast.
But she is my best friend. "How is it going between you and Will?" I ask her so she can talk about something else. She smiled so bright it could spring off her face. "Good, I uhm kissed him, but then we bumped into a closet and moths came out! That was not funny but yeah it's great between us!" "I am glad to hear that! I think it is time to go to the training. I'm wondering what we are going to do today." I say. "Yeah me too, I only know it's mixing day which means we are going to be trained by Four too, aren't you excited?" She says. I kick her softly and we run to the trainingroom. I see that Four is already there, talking with Zeke.
They immediately looked at me when I came in but I ignored their looks so Christina wouldn't be suspicious. A moment later I heard his voice. "Today the training is going to be different. Eric and I will both be training you." A few protest because when dauntless born and new initiates mixed, it meant 5 people would factionless after this stage of training. "If this news scares you, you obviously doesn't belong here in dauntless. Do the best you can." Tobias 'Four' says.
