"Hmm, I don't think so, it's not really flattering." Sue scrunched up her face. This was the fifth suit she turned down. Samantha narrowed her eyes at Sue, placed the dress back on the rack and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Who is he?" Samantha asked.
"What are you talking about?" Sue wiped her palms on her suit pants and cleared her throat.
"You aren't usually this picky when it comes to outfits for dinner with your family, so it makes me wonder, who else is going to be there." Samantha explained.
"It's just my mother, Mark and me. Well my mother invited one of my editors, but he isn't really important." Sue waved her hand dismissively while sipping on her Martini.
"Since when do you socialize with your workers outside your glass walls?" Samantha queried. She was one of the few people Sue spoke to about her life, outside of work. Samantha didn't know about Sue's troubled childhood, but she knew enough about her life to be called a good friend.
"When Lilith speaks, you listen." Sue shrugged.
"That's true but last time I checked you don't break your policies. They're there for a reason." Samantha pointed out. Sue bit the inside of her mouth. What was she to say? She didn't know why she didn't fight her mother on the decision. Normally she would.
"What's done is done." Sue downed the rest of her Martini.
Samantha smirked at her. "He must be a really 'good worker'."
Sue glared at the red head, her cheeks matching Samantha's mane. If she wasn't the best stylist in Manhattan Sue would have murdered her a long time ago. "Just find me an outfit woman."
"Yeah, yeah." Samantha waved her off and walked out of the room.
Samantha came back a few minutes later when Sue was on her second Martini with something hidden behind her back. Sue narrowed her eyes at the red head and took another sip of her drink. "What do you have there?"
"Oh nothing, just this!" Samantha pulled a dress front and center effectively choking Sue. Sue wiped some of the martini that dripped down the side of her mouth from her little splutter.
"Hell no!"
"Aww come on, we both know you want to say yes." Samantha made her stand and set the dress in front of her. "You're going to rock this dress."
"It's too tight, and this cut!" Sue's eyes widened as she looked at the dress in the mirror. She couldn't deny that the dress was beautiful. She shook her head. "No, no its way to inappropriate."
"Trust me, I've seen worse. But if you say so." Samantha sighed and set the dress down before leaving the room. "You're gonna regret it." She yelled on her way out.
Sue picked up the dress and set it against her again. I mean I am the boss. She reasoned. "Samantha!" She called. A second later Samantha's head poked around the corner. Sue glared at her. "You didn't leave, did you?"
"Nope." Samantha said popping the P laughing. "I'm glad you've come to your senses. He won't be able to take his eyes off you." Same took the dress from Sue to go prepare it for check out.
"I'm not wearing it for him!" Sue called after her, but she was kidding herself and she knew it. When did she start to care what people thought of what she looked like? A better question would be when did she start to care what Vladimir Mikealson thought.
Sue stared at herself in the mirror and licked her lips, brushing off her dress.

"Mi-Miss Raymond, you look um..." Jackie stammered. To say she was surprised would be an understatement. her boss rarely, if ever, strayed from her strict professional wardrobe.
