Truly pt.2

KIENEN P.O.V.

I walked over to my team mates that were talking quietly. My friend Jak walked over to me,"Y'ALL, we saw right Kienen KISSED THE GIRL" Jak yelled.

"Was that really necessary?" I whispered in Jaks ear.
"Well I gotta push you to ask her out some how"
"We are dating. Go near her with your fuckboy ways I hurt you"
"And if you hurt her? What would you do?" Jak said sending me an evil smirk then walked up to the coach.

Honestly lying about being in a relationship with the girl I've always seen around and have had a crush on made me feel great. And the fact that she's in on it too, and we kissed...

Not like anyone thought we weren't dating. Just have to sit back and wait for the word to spread around school and see how she feels about actually liking me. But why would she like me?

*Grey's p.o.v.*
I watched him walk off and start soccer practice as I got ready to take pictures. I didn't end up taking pictures at all because I got distracted by the ball... that they happened to be kicking around/chasing.

My phone started ringing in my pocket, "hello?"
"Hey sweet thing" I heard the sickening voice speak through my speaker.
"What do you want Zach?"
"You, and only you baby girl"
"Nothing is going to happen between us anymore, or ever again. I lost feelings for you when you told me you cheated on me our entire relationship. Plus, I'm in a new relationship with someone who treats me better."
"Oh but don't you miss the good times?" I can just imagine the evil smirk laying smuggly on his face.
"What's so good about an abusive relationship?" I didn't know how to feel anymore but I couldn't stay where I was. I was on the verge of tears, I don't like bringing up the past. Neither do I like talking to past issues.

I gathered my stiff together and put my camera back in my bag. I pulled my phone put so Kienen knew where to find me when he got out of practice.

New message to Kienen ✨💫
Hey sorry I left, someone called me and I felt sick. So I left to the rope swing by the creek. You can find me there if I'm not back when practice ends.

I left after sending the message to Kienen, and slowly walked down the highschool hill getting worried that someone might see me and the state I'm in is honestly pretty bad.
Zach and I used to be in a relationship...for five months but during our 'intimate' relationship she was off having sex with another girl from the next town over.

He was also abusive, emotionally not physically. Me being the second half of that relationship was really oblivious to what was going on till afterwards.

I turned the corner and Rand down the hill to the creek and slowly walked up to the rope swing that Alex and I put up a while back.

-flashback-

"We should build a swing down here sometime"
"Kienen, how in the world would we be able to 'build' a swing"
"A rope swing"
"Ooh cause that's better" I laughed out.
"It is" he said looking into my eyes. I looked back into his blue gray eyes and then realized I've been inlove with this boy ever since we met.
"Then let's get rope?"

-end of flashback-
My eyes started to water more as I sat at the trunk of the tree. And then I started crying and pulled my knees up to my chest and hid my face. I sat there crying for a while. Not really knowing what to do.

"Tea..." I heard Kienen's voice as he sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me.
"Sorry I'm sweaty," he jokingly said.
"Well you did just get out of practice" I whispered as I snuggled into his chest.
"Do you want to talk about it or just sit here and wait till you feel better" he was saying as he grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers.
"I just wanna sit here. In our safe place in, your arms." I said then looked up at him.
He looked down and wiped old tears away.
"Okay" he said and leaned down and rested his head on mine.
