Michael's science experiments have led him to great success in the past year and no one has championed him like his husband Prince. But lately, Michael hasn't had the creative flare in recent years and all of his scientific peers are waiting for him to come up with something spontaneous. Time is running out until he finally creates something that will probably help with people who don't want to die or just want another one of them.
Michael comes up with an invention that clones people, but not in the way you think. The clones won't be the kind of clones you see on movies with no type of mindset or opinion or no type of social function, no. The clone would have the exact same skills, personality, and mindset as your original self and more. Michael's test trials with this machine are of much success, considering the tests are ran in food and animals, but not on the main reason or object it's built for a human. He can't do it himself and everyone else he asks doesn't feel the urge to volunteer, leaving him to push the project aside until his more than willing husband decides to help him. After much persuasion, Michael does the experiment on Prince and the whole process is backfired by a mishap in which causes the death of his beloved husband, thus the famed scientists to dip back into science again for later years.
That is until two men are in his bedroom, looking both exactly like his deceased husband.
As a grieving spouse, he thinks it's all just a hallucination but soon realizes it's not when he hears the clones' voices, and their personalities are just like his husband's. Michael's pulled into a world with them of countless sex, awards, success on his creation, Prince and Jamie.
But things get suspicious when the twins act strangely when Michael is trying to figure out why one died in order for a clone to appear, in which he almost makes a discovery that has twins doing everything to keep Michael away from his machine and leave it be.
