Chapter 11

Baekhyun's POV

Luckily they dropped my car off at the cafe or I don't know how I would get to my parents house.

I was right in the driveway contemplating and just waiting on what my father's response to this mess would be.

To say he was smothering was an understatement. When I was in second grade he almost chastised a boy for giving me a flower at recess.

Just imagine how he was when I arrived home the day chanyeol left.

A whole lot of I told you so's and daddy is the only real man in my life.

On the other hand my mom was calm and mellow. Even before he sickness she still never raised her voice at least around me.

I took a deep breath before I stepped in my childhood home.

It still smelled of cinnamon with a hint of mint.

The house was quiet which scared me just a little.

"Dad? Did you kill him already?" I yelled as I stepped through the front door.

I heard a chuckle and turned my head to the living room to see my mom attending to a bruise on chanyeol's face while the kids were passed out on the couch.

"Dad!? What did you do?" I whisper yelled trying not to wake the kids.

"I swear I did nothing wrong, all he did was repent for hurting my precious baby" He put his hands up in protest.

I shook my head and looked over to my mom and chanyeol.

"Now honey you know the poor boy didn't deserve a blow to the face, I'm pretty sure he has important filming to do and now you've messed up his face" she dabbed some ointment on his cheek.

"Hmp the only time he looked handsome is when he genes started to appear in my grandchildren I'll give him that" Dad crossed his arms.

I chuckled at his comment and looked back to Chanyeol. My mom had finished attending to his wound and was now sitting by my dad.

I giggled at chanyeol's half smile and sat next to him.

"Soooooo.........Are my favorite son and son in law getting back together?" My mom broke the silence.

"No"
"Yes"

The room had stayed silent again as chanyeol and I answered at the same time.

"Oh come on I don't wanna die with my son being single the rest of his life especially after you rejected Daehyun" My mom broke the silence once again.

"Daehyun? Rejected?" Chanyeol questioned.

"Oh baekhyun didn't tell you? After you had left his childhood friend Daehyun had stepped in to comfort him, they had tried dating but baekhyun couldn't bare leading the poor boy on when he only thought of him as a brother" My mom spewed out the contents of my past.

She continued to talk on and on about myself after he left and how she thinks I never had gotten over him.

"-And then after that Daehyun just visited often to play with the kids, It's a shame he still runs after baekhyun, another good man gone to waste-"

"Okay Mom!!!! I think that's enough story time today, why don't you go and rest" I interrupted her.

"But sweetie the more I talk the more I feel alive, if I stay up on bed all day I'll just continue to rot"

"Fine" I huffed. "How about spending time the night I haven't done it since I switched to day shifts, It'll be nice to stay somewhere without someone having a party every night"

"Great! I'll set up your room for the both of you" My mom cheered as she stood up.

"Wait the both o-" I started to say but stopped as I realized she was already on her way to my room.

"If I hear one noise from that room, you're dead" My father broke his everlasting silence. Giving Chanyeol a deadly stare.

"Just great" I said under my breath.

Chapter is out. I might have another out before Thanksgiving but I'll also have a thanksgiving special. Just maybe. I know this story is a long process but I promise you guys I'm only getting started. I have so much drama planned. Also speaking of drama. I'm adding in Daehyun! Just to give you some background. Daehyun is Baekhyun's childhood friend. He had always liked baekhyun but baekhyun did not feel the same. He had stepped in chanyeol left and is sort of an uncle or second dad to Chelsea and Taehyung. What happened was Daehyun had wanted to take their relationship to the next level but baekhyun rejected him because he only felt brotherly feeling towards him.
