Chapter 4

I was told there would be a meeting in the pack house by Sarah so I was escorted out of the house by 2 guards so any rogues wouldn't attack us on the short journey to the pack house.

I was trying to blend in with the hundreds of people gathered in the very large house. This pack was by far the biggest pack I had ever set eyes on.

I turn my head around and bump straight into a girl around my age. She had blonde hair and dashing green eyes. She was beautiful.

"Im so sorry" she yelled covering her mouth, I shake my head "it's fine, it was my fault I bumped into you" I smile at her and give her a reassuring smile. "How come I've never seen you around?" she asks with confusion written on her face. "Oh I'm new I guess?" I tell her but it came out more as a question. She shrugs "I'm Bella by the way" "I'm Danica" I smile at her as she shakes my hand.

"You know I heard that the Alpha found his mate" She says with a frown on her face, "oh really?" I try not giving her the hint that I may be the possible 'mate'. "Yeah, you know I kind of feel bad for her" she says with a frown on her face. This got my heart beating "wh why would you say that?" I ask, maybe a little too eagerly. "You know Alpha, he's always so busy and he shows no affection at all, plus I heard he didn't even want a mate". Is that why he was so cold towards me? But I don't even know if were mates.

When I first met him he sent strange feelings to my stomach, he made my heart race and my insides warmed up. His scent drove me insane and his voice did strange things to my insides. My Mother always told me what it would feel like to meet your mate and the alpha of this pack did all the things my mother told me.

The voices of the pack members died down and we all shifted our gazes to the middle of the double sided stair case that towered over us. The beta I met the time I got caught stood in the middle of the second floor. "Shadowy wolf pack, I gathered all of you today as the Alpha wanted me to warn you about the rogues on our land, although we can easily rip them apart" he smirks "we still need to be cautious of our surroundings. Our pack is on lock down for now but we will handle the situation in no time" he smiles at us and leaves.

My heart was beating so fast I swear all the wolves in the mansion could hear it. I was in shadowy wolf pack?! The most feared pack in the world?! I needed to escape and do it soon. The wolves in this pack were vicious and don't even get me started about their Alpha.

I froze, their Alpha?! Alpha Blade?! My supposed mate is Alpha Blade?! This cant be happening.

"Are you okay? You know its just a couple of rogues on our land right? Bella laughs and nudges me on the shoulder. I let out a nervous laugh and nod my head. "Im fine" I reassure her. "Do you wanna go grab dinner with me?" She asks and I nod following her in the direction she walked.
