I saw everything and nothing at the same time. A burned rope some evaporated water a big hole by the anchor. Before I knew it I felt cold air on my face and the warm hands of my father.
I blacked out. I woke up there was sun on my face and I was dry. I was in my old home at the dinner table in Rhode Island. I wasn't supposed to be here. Then I really woke up. The storm was still going and my dad was holding me.
All of a sudden I wasn't scared anymore. I felt close to home. But when the storm passed I looked out of the crows nest. I saw nothing but a faint glimpse of my home in California.
