Fix it up or go down

The mast burnt and broken. The hull burnt and broken. You guessed it the anchor out of sight just a burnt rope. Stranded food that'll last about two weeks and my dads cell phone in a bowl of dry rice.(witch was going to be breakfast got lucky I guess).
Our only choice was to fix the boat with ducked tape, glue, paper, and some wood. We soon got to work I made another anchor out of some components in the drawer of the desk.
In fact the same desk that I'm writing this story on now. After I finished the anchor my dad filled the hole in the sail with paper as I super glued the hull.
Finally our work paid off and we set sail. ( At the time me nor dad had no idea we were going the wrong way.
