Payson's Pov:
I went to change into shorts and a t-shirt. I came out and Janel was walking to Maia so I was walking behind her then she stopped and I was almost there but I stopped because I heard them talking. Maia said "what's up with you and Payson", Janel said "nothing we are just friends". Maia said "okay (winked at Janel)", Janel said "fine I have a little crush on him but he will never feel the same way" (I jumped for joy and said yes). Then Maia said finally you admit it" and then the coach (teacher) said "its time to stretch", so we all went in a circle I was beside Janel and some other dude that I don't know. We were playing volleyball (an okay sport) and I was in another team and Janel and Maia was on the same team.
A guy said "hi my name is James what is yours", I said "my name is Payson", James said "nice to meet you and lets kick some butt" and I nodded my head. I was in the front of the net getting ready to kick some duty when Janel lip synced your dead and I lip synced back I don't think so. The game started and it was our pass so they passed and then Janel spiked it and she was jumping for joy I just smiled and thought it in my head she seems very competitive. We kept playing and it was the finale round, Janel served it, I passed it, then Maia spiked it. We lost but we didn't care, James and I saw Janel and Maia belly bumped each other and did a little dance ( we laughed) and James gave me his number so we can hangout. I came up to them and said "yeah yeah you won big deal" and Janel said "aww its okay you will win next time". I just smiled and we got changed and the bell ranged for our last class (finally).
