Chapter 4: 3 Years Later

3 years have passed since I started Hogwarts. I am now in my 4th year and will be turning 16 soon! I got a letter from The Wesley's's inviting me to the Qudditch World Cup. My parents went to school with Ron's parents Arthur and Molly, They were friends at Hogwarts like Me,Ron, Harry and Hermione are. They were fine with me going and then going to Hogwarts after. I'm nervous about going because there will be alot of people there and I haven't seen Harry for ever! I now realize I have a crush on him. I found a picture of our first year at Hogwarts. Wow we all  have changed. I looked at myself in the mirror and realized I too have grown up. I counted the days until I leave to go with the Wesley's. And today is the day. I packed up my stuff and set everything downstairs by the door, At fifteen till 5 I got really anxious. I kept walking around in a circle and looking out the window at the empty street. I went to the kitchen to get something to eat. As I was about to take a bite of my sandwich the doorbell rang, "I'll get it" I heard my mom yell. I heard the door open and laughter. I set my sandwich down and saw the Weasley's, Harry and Hermione at my front door. I ran over to them and gave them a hug. Everyone made their way into the living room while Me and Hermione stayed back to talk. "How have you been?" I asked her. "Good how about you?" She replied. "I've been good." I replied back. "Did you see how Ron and Harry changed?" She asked me. "Yeah Harry has gotten cuter and Ron has gotten taller." I told her. "yeah I think this year I will tell Ron I like him." She told me. "Yeah I will tell Harry how I feel too."I replied. I heard footsteps and looked up and saw Ginny walking towards us. "Hey guess who I'm dating?" She said bouncing up and down. "Who?" Me and Hermione asked together. "Neville." She replied bushing. "Really aww that's cute." I told her, "Really you think so." She said. "Yeah totally." I replied. "Me and him have been writing to each other all summer and Fred and George have been teasing me about it." She continued, "They are just jealous that no one likes them yet." Hermione said. Ginny smiled at us and we told her who we liked. We all three elapsed in giggles. I heard everyone coming to the front door. I ready to take my stuff to the car. "Here let me help you." A voice beside me said. I looked up and saw Harry standing beside me. "T-Thank Y-You." I stuttered. I looked over at Hermione and Ginny and saw they had shocked looks on their faces. He picked up my bags and carried them to the car. He came back and got Zuric's cage. "Harry such a gentleman." Mr. Weasley said clapping him on the back. My parents and Brittany came over to say goodbye. "Have fun and don't forget to write." My mom said giving me a hug. "Take care." My dad said giving me a bear hug. "Bye Brianna." Brittany said with tears streaming down her cheeks. "It will be okay." I told her giving her a hug. Once everyone said there goodbyes we headed to the car. Outside their were two ministry cars with green flags in my driveway. "Got these cars since Percy is a Head boy." Mrs. Weasley explained. "That's cool" I replied. "Yep we are so proud of him." She said kissing Percy on the cheek making him blush. I got into the car followed by Hermione, Ron, Harry and Ginny. To my surprise Harry sat down beside me. Hermione, Ron and Ginny sat across from us. I looked at Harry and saw him smile. I returned the smile. I looked at Hermione and saw her mouth the words "tell him."  I nodded my head and took a deep breath. "Harry there is something I need to tell you." I said, "What is it?" He asked. "I just wanted to tell you that I like you. I have liked you ever since we met 3 years ago." I told him. To my relief I saw him smile. "Well I like you too and I wanted to tell you for a long time." He replied. "Yeah me too." I said. I could feel my heart pounding out of my chest. "Will you go out with me?" He asked me. I thought I was going to scream. "Yes." I replied. We both smiled as I felt his hand on mine. I looked over at Hermione and saw that her and Ron were holding hands too. All three of them smiled at us. I returned the smile blushing. I looked out the window and saw a sign saying Ottery St. Catchpole. "We are almost there."Ron told me. I turned my attention back to Harry who was smiling at me. "What?' I asked him. 'It's just that I'm glad we told each other." He told me. "Yeah me too." I replied. I wanted this to be the moment of our first kiss. As we were about to the car stopped and the driver said"We're here." I unbuckled my seat belt and got out. I saw a crooked house with too many fireplaces on top. I heard from a distance chicken clucking. I felt Harry grab my hand again. Mr. Weasley, Mrs. Weasley, Percy, Fred and George got out of the second car. When they all saw me and Harry holding hands they smiled. Mrs. Weasley gave Hermione and Ron a a smile too. My stuff was taken out of the trunk and carried inside. We all headed inside to get warm. The kitchen was small and cozy. The living room was stuffed with a couch and armchairs. A fireplace was in front of them. I'll show you were you girls will be sleeping." Mrs. Weasley told me and Hermione. Mrs. Weasley led us up a flight of stairs to the second floor. "This was Ron's older brother's Charlie and Bill's room." She told us. She opened the door and turned on the light. The room was a medium size with two beds and two dressers. She went over to the window and pulled back the . "You have a view of the backyard. " She told us. I nodded my head. "I'm going to let you Brianna get settled." She told me. "Okay Thanks Mrs. Weasley." "Your welcome. I'll have the boys come get you when dinner is ready." She said closing the door behind her. I set my suitcases by the bed near the window, and sat on the bed. "I can't believe me and Harry are dating." I exclaimed, "I know that's so cute," Hermione replied. "You and Ron are cute together." I told her. "Thanks." She replied giving me a hug."Your welcome." I replied returning the hug. I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," Hermione said. The door opened and Ron and Harry walked in. "It's time to eat," Ron said walking over to sit beside of Hermione, Harry came over and sat beside me. He wrapped his arm around my waist. "We better go down there before your mom comes up here." I told Ron. "Yeah." He replied, We all got up and headed down stairs for dinner, Once we got down stairs the smell of food made me really hungry, "We are eating outside since there are so many people." Mr. Weasley told us. "Okay." Ron replied. We headed outside where a long table was set up. Sitting at the table were two people I didn't know, "Brianna this is Charlie and Bill Ron's older brothers." Mrs. Weasley told me. I shook hands with the muscular one. His hands has blisters on them. "Nice to meet you." He said smiling. "You too." I replied. The one on the right had long hair and had in fang earrings. "Nice to meet ya," He said shaking my hand. "You too." I replied. "Brianna and Hermione can you come help me in the kitchen?" Mrs. Weasley said poking her head out of the kitchen door. Hermione and me headed inside to help Mrs.Weasley. She had us peel and mash up potatoes. "So you and Harry are dating?" Mrs, Weasley asked me. "Umm..Yeah." I replied. "That's good." She replied. I looked over at Hermione and she shrugged her shoulders. "So Hermione that means you and Ron are dating?" She asked Hermione. "Yeah." She replied blushing. "I always knew one day you and Ron would be together." She told her. "Me too."Hermione replied. Once everything was ready for dinner we all gathered around to eat. I sat down beside Harry and started to put food on my plate. Everyone was talking about the World Cup. "I think Ireland will show Bulgaria what they are. " Bill said "Yeah they are tough." Mr.Weasley. replied. I turned to Harry who was listening to their conversation. "So are you excited to go back?" I asked him. "Yeah not excited about Snape's class." He replied. "Yeah me either." I said smiling and giving his hand a squeeze. 'This year will be good." Charlie told us. "How?"Ron asked him. "You will see when you get there." He told him. "I think we all need to go to bed early since you guys have to get up early tomorrow," Mrs. Weasley said. "Good idea." Mr. Weasley said yawning. Mrs. Weasley cleaned up the table while we headed upstairs. Me and Harry stopped at my door to tell each other good night. "See you in the morning." He said. "Yeah see ya." I replied. I gave him a hug and looked into his eyes. As we leaned in closer I knew we were going to kiss. As our lips met, I felt fireworks exploding everywhere! I wrapped my arms around his neck and enjoyed that moment. I broke the kiss apart and looked at him smiling. "I have been waiting for that." I said  still smiling. "Me too." He replied. We hugged once more and I watched as he walked back downstairs. I opened the door and saw Hermione already in her pajamas and reading a book. "Hey guess what happened?" I told her getting my pajamas. "What?" She asked sitting up and setting her book aside. "Me and Harry kissed." I almost squealed. "Aww..were there fireworks?" She asked. "Yeah." I replied feeling myself blush. She got back into intrest of her book while I changed itno my pajamas. I got into bed, as Hermione was turning out the light. "Good night." She said after turning out the light. "Good night." I replied. I turned over and smiled in my pillow thinking what what happened a few minutes before.
