A shooting star, that went so far
Over our heads it went, leaving fire in its wake But when forgotten, the cold set in A once beatiful view... turned dark and lonely
A place of grief A reminder of the past The past in which went by so fast
A shooting star, that went so far I prey all day for the warmth The warmth in which delivered the light The light that sparkled in the eye The eye of a passerby who stared in Awe at this ball of light
Our shooting star... you went so far leaving a track of despair in your leaving.
