So these are some of the poems I am writing for a book report...

A shooting Star
By 22LunaFae

A shooting star, that went so far

Over our heads it went, leaving fire in its wake
But when forgotten, the cold set in
A once beatiful view...
turned dark and lonely

A place of grief
A reminder of the past
The past in which went by so fast

A shooting star, that went so far
I prey all day for the warmth
The warmth in which delivered the light
The light that sparkled in the eye
The eye of a passerby who stared in
Awe at this ball of light

Our shooting star...
you went so far
leaving a track of despair in your leaving.

Hope
By 22LunaFae

My friend,
Please stop crying
your tears run down your cheeks
watering the flowers we seek
Have hope!

Stand Tall
By 22LunaFae

Shed me of my passion
Rid me of my dreams
Discourage my hope
And bound me with rope

I will stand tall

Challenge me with trials
And riddle me with questions
Question my faith
or imprison me with doubts

Yet I will stand tall

Hold me hostage
Harm my spirit
Leave me drowning

And I will stand tall

You can battle me with my fears

And I will Stand Tall

For as long as I'm standing tall there will be hope for peace.

Do whatever you may,

Because I will stand tall.
