She Saved Me

D: Hey guys I'm back

Lauren stared at her phone with a smile on her face as she read Dinah's name on her notification panel. She immediately responded to her best friend.

L: Dinah!!

Dinah couldn't help but giggle at Lauren's reaction.

D: Lauren!! 😀

C: Camila! 😋

L: Where's Ally Camz?

C: Work 🙁

D: Damn 😕

Lauren didn't know how she became so lucky to have such a fun and positive group of friends but she knew that she was so grateful to finally fit in somewhere. Nothing could complicate her emotions about the group...or so she thought.

*Dinah's POV*
I was sitting on my phone and for a while I was really happy until she left.

L: I'll be back later guys ❤

I kept staring at that message dying for something to get my mind off of it. Just then my little brother Seth walked into my room. "Dinah?" I locked my phone and smiled up at him. "Yeah buddy?" He sat next to me, "Will you tell me what it's like to be a singer?" I giggled at his question because he was always interested in my career path. "It sure is a lot of fun, but it is also a whole lot of work." I told him, he nodded in understanding before asking me about something I couldn't bare to talk about; "How is Normani?" I froze, Normani and I were together while I was in middle school it was a very bad relationship for me. "I wish I knew buddy" I didn't, all I was really thinking about was when Lauren would come back. Lauren and I are best friends and I missed her instantly whenever she'd leave. When she returned, so did my happiness. But I could never tell Lauren that because it might scare her off. I just hope she comes back soon.
*Lauren's POV*
The sooner I can get out of here the sooner I can talk to Camally. But most importantly, I can finally text Dinah.
I was just staring at the clock thinking I could make it move faster but all I did was slow it down even more. Just when I thought of flipping shit I got a text.

D: I miss Lauren :(

A: Me too :(

C: Me three :(

D: Where is she?

C: Probably in class, she told me that she wanted to study culinary arts.

I smiled as I secretly read the exchange between my best friends. But something was different...I seemed to blush whenever I saw Dinah's messages about me. Weird? Oh finally the bell rings.

L: Hi guys (:

D: Lauren!!

C and A: Lauren!

Lauren laughed softly, man how much she really loved these girls.

Lauren is a very outgoing person when you get to know her. Since her parents divorce however, she kinda closed herself off. She had a boyfriend so she wasn't COMPLETELY alone right? She loves music and art basically anything she can express herself with that's what she likes.
As she saw her boyfriend she smiled softly, "Hey babe how was class?" He playfully rolled his eyes, "It sucked, and somebody never texted me back." Lauren bit her lip, "I'm sorry" He smiles and kisses her, which is ususlly one of  Lauren's favorite parts of her day but today it seemed like she just wanted it to end.

*Dinah's POV*
Lauren Lauren Lauren. Why am I constantly thinking about Lauren?! It's not like I have a chance with her or anything. As I got on the bus I checked my phone for any messages from her. Still none, ugh come on Lauren just text me already. Dinah is pretty much the same way as Lauren is except she has to deal with something that Lauren had no idea about: a homophobic mother. It irritated Dinah to no end but she learned to not let it bother her. She had a cover-up too, they've been together for three years but Dinah wanted out. She knew who she really wanted but she also knew she may never have her. And that was the worst part.
