The next day Dinah was determined to do the right thing. When she got to her boyfriend she put on a straight face. "I don't want this anymore. I'm sorry but it's over. I'm tired of being with you just to keep my mother happy rather than keeping myself happy." Before he could get a word Dinah left her speechless ex boyfriend in the parking lot. As she got in her car she texted Lauren.
D: Heeyy
Lauren heard her phone go off and smiled softly as she saw it was Dinah, she wiped her eyes.
L: Hehe hii best friend
D: What's up?
L: Nothing much, I missed you

Dinah sensed something was wrong so she cautiously questioned Lauren about it. And just like that Lauren broke down again.
D: I'm sorry Laur I shouldn't have asked. 🙁
L: No it's okay DJ I understand you're concerned.
D: Do you wanna talk about it love?
Lauren blushed softly.
L: It's my parent's divorce.
D: Oh shit I'm sorry I didn't know.
