Legolas' pov
I waited for Tamaril outside of the city gates talking to my horse, I like to think of him as a friend not some kind of servant, they have feelings too after all. He was looking at something behind me, "Mani naa ta?" (What is it?) I asked and he pointed with his nose so I turned around to see Tamaril walking up to us, she looked so beautiful, she wasn't dressed up but she looked amazing. "Vanimle sila tiri" (Your beauty shines bright) I said in awe, she smiled at me and blushed a little.
"Thank you," she said and stroked my horses nose "Hello boy, why didn't you tell me to bring Sprite?" she asked and I blushed a little,
"I was hoping we could, well, you know, ride together again. I enjoyed the last time."
"I enjoyed it too," she smiled,
"So we can?" she nodded at me so I mounted up and offered her my hand to help her up as my horse is quite a bit higher than Sprite, she took my hand and settled in behind me wrapping her arms round me, how I longed to feel this again. I moved my horse onwards, it wont take long to get there.
"So where are you taking me?"
"A friend offered to make us dinner, I had not seen him in a while but he had offered for just me then I told him I had plans, then he offered to cook for us both, the heart of Mirkwood is its people, I hope you don't mind," I felt her squeeze me tighter as something flew over head and I kicked my horse on faster.
"It sounds lovely, but what was that?" she asked,
"Half the reason I left."
"Which is?" she pushed and I sighed,
"My farther sold part of the kingdom to Lord Sauron, since then evil comes into our land a lot. My farther doesn't do what is best for other people, he does what is best for him, back then money, this time money, fame and glory. That's why I stay out of Mirkwood, I don't like what he did."
"Im so sorry"
"Don't be. Its hardy your fault." I tell her. Just then the Glamhoth Ohtar (Orc Warrior) ran in our path we had to stop suddenly and Tamaril flew over my head screaming, "Tamaril!" I shouted and jumped off drawing my bow aiming at the orc as it stood over her putting is axe to her neck, "Let her go!" I yelled at it drawing my bow string tighter, the orc snarled at me keeping its axe there, her head was bleeding she must have hit a rock or something it knocked her out. "She needs help! Let her go!" the orc pushed the axe into her neck cutting it slightly not enough to kill her but it will scar, I aim at the orcs hand and shoot it drawing another arrow, he lets go of the axe and it falls away from Tamaril, I shot the orc between the eyes and threw my bow back over my back and ran to her. I traced the cut on her neck with my fingers, u need to stop the bleeding then I can get her help, I look around for anything to help but I cant see anything, I rip part of my shirt off and tie it around her neck, not too tight, just to slow the flow. "Stay with me, please stay with me" I say as I pick her up I put her on the saddle and climb up behind her holding her body with one hand and taking the reigns with my other hand, I ride as fast as I can to Elleon, he used to be a doctor he can help her until I can get more help.
I get into the village and before I even dismount I shout his name, "Elleon!" he came running out and saw Tamaril in my arms and held his arms out for me to lower her down, "You have to help her!" he picked her up and rushed inside looking at her wound and came back out to get some water,
"Legolas, ride back to the city get a doctor, I will stop the bleeding but you will need someone more experienced than me," he said looking at the tears starting to flow down my face I was in shock I couldn't believe this had happened, he turned us around and hit my horses side "GO!" Amaniel took of as fast as he could, I jumped off him once we got to the court yard, my farther will be in the main hall with the staff now, I ran straight in not caring to knock. The fellowship were all there too.
