"So, what you plan on doin' now you that you out?" I asked Q, taking a pull from the blunt I just lit.
"You already know, I've been craving money man." He sighs. "But other than that, I wanna see my little sister. I haven't been answering her calls 'cause I want to surprise her, y'know. She gon' be tight when she see me though." He laughs.
"Well, when you gon' see her?"
"Later. You rollin'?"
I nodded. "For sure."

"You know where she live at? I mean, you been locked up for 3 years. A lot of shit could change in that time span."
He nodded. "I spoke to my aunt already and she told me where her crib at."
"Cool, cool." Waiting for the light, I sat back exhaling. "You nervous?"
"I can't lie. She all grown up now. Little sis 20" he chuckles. "She probably got all these niggas lined up wantin' her. I could already tell I'm gon' have a whole lot on my hands."
"Why she ain't ever visit you? Y'all spoke right?"
"Yea but I ain't want her to see me like that. I was reckless in that bitch. Got into fights. Shit was crazy in there. I got jumped too, they cut up my face so I looked pretty fucked up. She don't deserve to see me like that. She'd always think of me as some strong, brave ass nigga. So if she was to see me that way, I feel like she'd be disappointed. And that's the last thing I want."

After our little lunch date, Katie and I headed back to my place. Amir wasn't back from his 'errands' and I honestly didn't even care. I mostly dislike being home without him but now that I have company and a friend, I don't feel so lonely anymore.
"Your house is beautiful." She complimented, sitting her bag on the couch.
I smiled, unzipping my sweater. "Thanks. Coffee?"
She slightly nodded, turning her attention to the furniture in the living room.
"This was all your idea? This place is beautiful... doesn't look like something a man would choose to decorate a home." She said, laughing afterwards.
I chuckled, shaking my head. "This was all me. He might have dabbled a little, he does have good taste but we had different perspectives on what we wanted the house to look like which as you know, turned into an argument."
"Of course." She giggled.
Armani Xavier
"Little sis living with some nigga." He said with a mug. "I sense he ain't anything good. He a busta'."
I bust out laughing, shaking my head at this fool. "Nigga you never even met the dude."
He shrugged. "So what? Got this gut feelin' he ain't shit. You know we always gotta believe them gut feelin's. Shit don't ever lie."
"You right. But still... don't assume shit and feel stupid afterwards. If she been with the kid for a long time then he should be a good guy."
"That's unless she puttin' up with his bullshit. And I swear if she is, I'm fuckin' her up."
I shook my head, pulling up infront of the house.
"This the shit?" I asked.
He nodded. "This the address."
Walking up front, he took a deep breath and knocked on the door a few times before it was opened.

Furrowing my brows, I walked towards the door not sure of who'd be stopping by since I wasn't expecting anyone. Taking off the locks, I opened the door and gasped.
Seeing my brother in the flesh right before me almost had my heart fly out my chest. I haven't seen him in such a long time nor have I spoken to him.
My eyes welled up with tears as my knees grew weak making me almost fall till he grabbed me, embracing me into a hug.
I sobbed on his shoulder, feeling the wetness that was now on his hoodie. He rubbed my back, kissing my forehead.
"I'm here now, baby sis. All that matters."
I nodded, feeling whole for the first time in a long time. My brother is finally home, and I finally feel great.
