Thank God.... Sam thought, happy to be in the transport car and out of that stupid airplane. Nearly 8 hours of Dean absolutely freaking out, clutching Cas the whole way. They really were the cutest couple.

The second Sam saw the city in its entirety, he knew, he loved it. The contrast of the buildings to the palm trees dotted along the streets, it was really a marvel. Of course, it was a complete tourist trap, but he didn't care, he loved it anyway.
Dean must've been thinking the same, because he contently declared:
"Cas, oh my God, I love it. I love you." He grabbed his husband's hand, and turned his head to look at Sam. His face was so peaceful, and Sam couldn't help to think that even if he ended up hating it here, it was worth it to see his brother so happy.

The rest of the day was spent checking into the resort, followed by walking the boulevard. They all stared around intently, heads turning every-which-way, nearly resembling owls. Cas insisted on trying on every funny hat they found, and every time, Dean would buy them for him, even if it was simply a joke.

Time passed very slowly, each minute seemingly twice as long as the last. The funny part is the fact that nobody cared. If anything, they wanted it to last even longer. It was getting dark, and the soft yellow lighting from the street lamps mixed with the lowering sunset provided the perfect glow. The beach was close enough to give them a slow sea breeze that absolutely set the scene even more. The two lovebirds felt it too, as Cas laid his head on Dean's shoulder as he walked.

"Hey, it's getting dark, I'm gonna head back to the hotel to get some rest. The time change is messing me up." Said Sam, wanting to leave the two alone together. After all, it's their honeymoon.
"Are you sure?" Dean looked at Cas, intent on Sam's answer.

"Very," he went on, "you two could use some alone time, and I'm exhausted."
Cas and Dean couldn't find any other objections as they sent him on his way as they continued walking and laughing through the city.

As Sam awoke, an unfamiliar but overall good feeling washed over him. Out his window, the sun was rising behind the palm trees near the ever-flowing waves. If he hadn't been there himself, Sam could've sworn that it was a picture right out of a brochure. A nearly overwhelming orange glow washed into the room as he searched through his baggage, attempting to find his swim trunks and a towel.

The newlyweds (and Sam) met in the lobby and set out for the beach. Cas planned it all, even making sure that he got a patch of the sand for the three that was close enough to the restaurants to be convenient, but far enough away to have privacy.

Sam looked back on what had happened in the short period of time they've been there, and smiled faintly. So far, so good......
