Ezra's dad

Chapter 14

Heyyyy everyone I'm not dead, just busy with school work and stuff.

Kanan's pov:
Me and Ezra were walking around and  asking about possible recruits to people we knew when an Imperial walked over. "Hey you" he shouted and we ran. Soon there were 3 stormtroopers on us and we were running out of places to run to. We were cornered into an alley way with the officers closing in on us. I put Ezra behind me protectively and said "stay away from my son". They didn't listen though and kept walking towards us. Ezra then started to hug my leg in fear but he still yelled out "get back meanies" and I suppressed a chuckle. An officer said in a rude tone "so we are meanies huh, would meanies do this" and he grabbed my shoulder and tore me away from Ezra. "EZRA" I yelled and an officer yelled at me to shut up but I didn't listen.

Ezra's pov:
The big dumb meanies tore my papa away from me! They kept getting closer until someone landed behind them and smashed their heads into each other. "T...thank you" I stuttered and papa got up and scooped me in a hug. He then turned to the stranger and said "thank you for saving my son, I'm Kanan and this is Ezra". "No problem, my name is Zeb" he said and I wiggled out of my papa's arms and hugged his big......furry? leg. "What are you" I asked and the man chuckled and said "I am a lasat" "cool" I responded with and papa and Zeb chuckled. "We could really use your help, if you want to..." he trailed off then whispered "join us in a rebellion" Zeb got a serious look on his face and nodded his head.

Zeb' pov:
When he asked me to join him and his son and I nodded my head but also felt bad for the kid. He is so young but is born into this cruel world where he has to fight. "Let's go" Kanan said and Ezra held Kanan's hand and we all walked to somewhere where we met up with a twilek and and astromech. "Kanan I got us a droid" she said and Kana gestures to me and said "this is Zeb, he has agreed to help us". "That's great, my name is Hera. now lets go" Hera said and led us to a ship. "Welcome to our new home" Kanan said and we all walked on board.
