*Author's Note*
(this is a flashback to a time where both Saleen and Hook were in Neverland. Peter Pan WILL make an appearance in Neverland but the way I write certain scenes may be different from the way the great Kitsiss and Horowitz write their fantastic scenes.)
*Saleen's POV*
I stand up and pack up my campsite. I grab my satchel and sling it over my shoulder. I bury the remains of the fire and wash my face. I braid my hair quickly and survey the campsite.
"What a lovely resting spot," says a voice. I whirl around, my sword almost flying into my hands.
"Who the HELL are you?" I ask. The man looks surprised.
"Haven't I introduced myself?"
"No, you haven't," I say interrupting, "Nor do I care who you are. Are you someone of importance?"
"Depends on your perspective, love," the man says, leaning casually against a tree.
I look at him levelly. "If someone is important, it means that they'll help me get off this damn island and back to my home."
The man grins. "Then consider me the most important person you'll ever meet."
"I'm Killian, by the way. Killian Jones."
"I'm..Rosie."
"Interesting name. Is it a nickname? I do so love nicknames. In fact, I have one. It's Hook. CAPTAIN Hook, actually."
I roll my eyes. "How inventive. My name, however is still Rosie." I finish my packing and turn to leave.
"Where you going Princess?" taunts Hook. I grab my bow and nock an arrow and aim it at his throat. I let the arrow fly and it lands right above his head.
"Impressive."
"I don't miss without an intention. And my intention is to get off this island and unless you're going to help me, the next arrow WILL hit you between the eyes."
"Feisty. I like feisty."
"And I dislike slimy intolerable men. So get out of my way." I fire an arrow at him and hit him in the knee. Then, I run for my life.
