The man in the mountain watch form the sky down on Crow and Travis. He could see all that went on. He knew Travis was a potential hero. The man had planned this whole thing. A dark figure appeared behind the old man. The figure was holding a scythe.
Travis was tired and wet. Crow steered the ship. "Is it okay If I sleep a little?" Travis asked. "Sure" Crow said. Crow looked more serious then usual. "There are many things I could teach you Travis. The Master and his apprentice working side by side." "Yes" Crow said. "Crow and Travis fighting. There's so much I need to show you." Crow looked over his shoulder and Travis had dosed off.
"Call King Hackett!" Ordered a Skelton. The bartender dialed for the king. The skeleton had metal around his mouth. He was slightly taller then Jarvis and slimmer. He had red face paint smeared on him. While Jarvis had red eyes like fire he had one small beady black eyes and a grey one. "Hey" said the bartender. "Are you Bond Quiver?" "Yes." He said and picked up the phone. The King projected a hardening tone. "Jarvis is dead and that leaves you on the front. I can sense his death and those two in that ship will not make it to my throne." "Okay sure." He agreed and hung up.
"Ugh what?" Travis asked. "It's about time I showed you something." Crow walked to the back of the ship. Crow lowered the anchor. The ship still rocked. Travis ran to the side of the ship and threw up off of the ship. Travis wiped his mouth. "I'm okay. What did you wa- wanna show me?." "Crow walked into the captain's Den where there was a desk, scroll, maps, and other stuff. What came of most use to Crow was the potions. He knew pretty much all kinds and how to make them. Crow clenched his stomach. "Why do I feel so sick?" Your having sea sickness but it's more severe here." "Where even is here?" "This pit of darkness? It has many different names but commonly It is called Deathland or in some circles ghosts and demons call it Tartarus. My brother has always loved this place."
"Okay did I mention I was going to show you this?" Crow took a paper out of his cloak and rolled it out. "From way down low, Where the skeletons go, across desert and sea, skirm two travelers, one will set the souls free, one and death will be." "What is that?" Travis asked. "It's a prophecy that I've kept for a while, years even." "Who is that about? Us?" "Yes I think so." Crow handed Travis a bottle of dark liquid. "What is this for?" "It's for later you can turn your enemies to iron with this." "Wow cool!" "Yeah anything at all can be turned into Stygian iron by this potion."
Travis placed the potion into his satchel. "So what are going to do at the docks."
"Well in the least simplified way I can say would be, you practice training, we sneak into the fortress, you sort out things with king Hackett, and possibly open a portal." Travis blinked "Still confused." "Thought so, so you're gonna fight king Hackett." "What? Wait he's your brother." "Yah" Crow said "He is corrupt with evil spirit." "Why can't you fight him?" "Because I just can't-" Crow paused "he's my brother."
Crow walked back to the ship's helm. "Hey so?-" Travis began "no please can you save the questions I'll faint if you ask too many." "What can you?" Asked Travis and Crow fell on the floor. "Wow, are you okay? No wait never mind I shouldn't have said that." Travis dragged Crow to the captain's den and manned the helm.
Travis steered the ship. He wondered about a lot of things but he couldn't ask too many questions because Crow would faint again and there wasn't time. There would have to be reason behind him having to fight Crow's brother.
He was close now very close to the docks. He steered and steered some more
"Travis" called a faint voice. "Yes" Travis replied."you will go to a red wooden building when you reach the port." The voice faded. Travis knew it was the man in the mountain.
Crow stuttered "Was that him? The man in the mountain?" Travis turned around to look at him. "Yes It was we need to go a barn or something."
"Travis get ready to train. I'm going to stock up on all these potions and documents you just steer." Crow walked over to the scrolls. "Death!" Crow heard. "Shh" Crow whispered "Don't worry" the wind spoke. "I'm just going to remind you he is your responsibility now. And that if you let him do this you will die." "Why must you remind me?" Crow whined.
"Did you hear something?" Travis asked. "It must have been the wind." Crow persuaded "and you'd shouldn't be asking questions." Travis nodded and paid attention to the sea once again. "Why do you wanna help him?" The man form the mountain asked. "Why don't you kill king Hackett?" "Stop! I'm having him do it so he lives!" "He can't make it by himself even if he leaves." The wind was quick and on point with his words. "I can't have an exact plan but isn't that why you're here?" Crow questioned. The wind was gone.
