I woke up, on my own time since I had the day off. My boss said I worked a little harder than I should've last month so I get the next day off. More time to prepare for this party. It's a Wednesday. I get Thursday and Friday off, that's enough time right? I noticed Storm was asleep under my arm so I hugged him, scratching behind his ear, just how he liked it. I felt my stomach grumble but I wasn't in the mood for getting up. Yes, I'm lazy. I snapped a picture of Storm and posted it to Instagram, captioning it: "With this one ❤️" then I get a text from Caleb
Caleb: PARTY. FRIDAY. BE THERE!
Me: I will! Chill out! 😂
Caleb: Sorry! But I haven't seen you in 4 years! I'm gonna freak out about it wether you like it or not!
Me: I never said I didn't like it! You're as stubborn as I remember!
Caleb: Oh that's crap! Whatever! Anyway, did you find an outfit like you said last night before you stopped replying!
Me: I fell asleep sorry!! And yes! Wanna see it?
Caleb: Duh!
Me: Okay! *sends picture* (hehe you'll see it soon reader)
Caleb: That's perfect! Can't wait to see you
Me: Me either :)
Caleb: Ya know, once you move in with the me and the boys, I'm gonna bug you a lot more
Me: Oh I know, I can't believe I'll be moving in with you dorks. To be honest, I'm tired of this place
Caleb: That's understandable, I gotta go get some things. Text later!
Me: See ya
I lock my phone smiling at the small yet refreshing conversation. I got out of bed finally, being followed by Storm. I stared at myself in the mirror for a couple seconds kinda scanning myself and giving myself an score on how good I look. I've always had insecurities about how I look. Anyway, I got in the shower and put a pair of clothes on. I didn't have any plans so I figured I would get some stuff for the party. I don't know why, but I had a strange feeling something that would happen today, that would change my life for the better.
