what is awards day?

it is a day when students perform skits, songs or dances and parents enjoy.

it is a day when students receive certificates for participation and awards for academics, and parents clap.

it is a day when committee students are most stressed, having to run here and there, change into different costumes and run up to receive awards.

it is a day when families go back happy and celebrate.

it is a day that requires months of preparation, all just for one event that lasts five hours.

it is a day when students are most nervous or excited for.

it is a day to showcase talent.

it is a day when students get to wear the most bizarre costumes ever.

this is my definition of awards day.
