It’s been two weeks since I started the friendship with Aiden.  So far it’s been kind of fun.  We’ve hung out every day after school since then.  Either working on our project (which we finished), watching movies, or playing video games.  It was nice to have a friend that’s not seven states away from you.  Aiden even convinced me to try out for the soccer team later in the spring.

“Hey Tyler.” Said a familiar voice.

“Oh hey Aiden” I replied. He was wearing black skinnies; which I don’t think are supposed to be that tight; and a V-neck with a button down.  I continued eating my skittles in silence when I felt eyes on me.  I turned around to see Aiden staring at me with his brown eyes giving me his puppy dog face.  I look from my bag of goodies back to him knowing what he wanted.  I shook my head and turned away from the blond boy.  Even when I try to ignore him I still felt his eyes burning in the back of my neck.

“Fine.” I breathed giving the candy to him in defeat.  Gosh, I hate it when he pulls that face on me.  Why do I fall for it every single time?

Aiden’s Point of View

Hah ha works every time!  As much as I and Tyler has been hanging out I’ve given him this look on a number of occasions. It’s been kind of cool hanging with him.  When he not being an anti-social loner, he’s really funny and up for anything.  It took awhile to crack that shell of his.

Today my friend is sporting a loose Machine Gun Kelly t-shirt and loose fitting skinnies.  His dark brown hair fell right over his brow over his clear blue eyes.  Quickly Tyler spins around and gives me a look.

“What are you looking at?” asked Tyler curiously.

“Dude you remind me of a girl” I spoke trying to keep a straight face but a smirk was playing at the corners of my mouth.

“No I don’t.  Shut up.” He exclaimed annoyed as he ran him fingers through his hair.  Even though he has a frown on his face his eyes seem to light up with amusement.  That’s the thing with Tyler, you can’t read him easily except his eyes; his eyes is an open book!

“Tyler.” I called playfully but no use.  He's ignoring me.   “Oh the silent treatment I see.”

He shot me a glare and quickly turned around writing in his notebook.  Oh hellll no! I am not going to be ignored!  I quickly wrapped my arms around his shoulders and begin to wale as if in hysteria.

“Tyler don’t ignore me!” I screamed loud gaining attention from everyone in the class room!  I can see a smile tugging at Tyler’s lips as I continue my display.  Finally he pushed me away.

“Dude chill.” He chuckled.  I couldn’t help but smile.

Truth be told, he has the potential to be my best friend.  He’s different from the other kids around here.  He’s quiet, moody, and closed off, but when he opens up he’s a crazy kid which surprised me.

“Dude your smile is creeping me out” he said.

“Oh” I responded “my bad I fell into thought.

“Its cool I know you can’t withstand my sexiness.”

“Oh yeah “I said rolling my eyes.

Tyler’s point of view

School seemed too passed by quickly today.  I found myself following the wave of kids to the parking lot.  My eyes looked in all directions as I found my friend chilling against his hood of his mustang with that same smug smirk chilling on his eyes.

“Ready?” he asked as I approached his car.  I nodded my head and got in the passenger seat.  He quickly got in and stared his car.  The 1975 song called Chocolate echo through the car.  I frowned at him as he turned it down.  He rolled his eyes and drove out the parking lot.

“Sorry it’s not hard enough for you or talking about getting it in.” He said with sarcasm laced in my voice.  I love nothing but Rap, and metal core.  I mean he likes it too but I prefer the indie and post-hardcore stuff.  I plugged in his iPod and Motionless in White blared through the stereo.  I bobbed my head to their sound.

“You’re such a weird kid.” He snickered as he continued to bob his head.

                “And you’re a hater.”

We pulled up to my house just as the song finished.  I didn’t see my dad’s truck anywhere in sight.  I guess he’s working again.  I sighed.

“Ready to get this sleeps over started!!” squealed Aiden with a high pitched voice.  I cringed away from his sudden outburst”

“Totally.” I said with sarcasm.  Aiden decided to stay over tonight.  I can’t blame him home doesn’t seem to great right now.  He doesn’t know I know.

Aiden left his gym bag at my house one time and since he doesn’t live that far away in walking distance I left to return it.  Before I can even get to the front door and knock I heard shouting spilling out from the inside.  As I turned to leave I saw a glimpse of Aiden at the table with out that happy smile he always has.

“Let’s play Mario cart!” he screamed as he ran into the living room.
