5th Star: Spirit Beasts

I feel warm, I can feel the cool breeze of the wind. I know this scent, the scent of my home, with my grandfather. I woke up to a familiar place, I am laying on a thick patch of grass besides the river, I looke behind me and I see the mansion of my grandfather which has a cherry blossom tree is planted on the center. I entered the mansion. As I enter, the summer season turned winter which the whole mansion is covered in snow. I went to the center garden of the mansion, the cherry blossom tree blooms and untouched by the cold white snow. Under the tree, six people are squatting down and they seemed peacefully meditating. I also noticed that they're all wearing yukatas and an animal mask. Lamb, Wolf, Lion, Serpent, Falcon, and Gorilla, they all looked calm. "The owner of the house arrived." The man with the lion mask stood up. He looks like a well developed man with a well built body. "I dare say, she took her time." The woman with the serpent mask stood up as well. She looks elegant with a voluptuous body. "Don't be like that. Everything happens on the right time." The man with the falcon mask stood up. He looks stout but thin. "Right, I'm just happy to see Hiroka-sama is OK now." The woman with the lamb mask stood. She looks petite but has a fine porcelain-like skin. "I don't care who she is, I want to feast more!." The man with the wolf mask stood impatiently. He looks well built too just like the man with the lion mask. "Be thankful that you did feast already." The man with the gorilla mask stood beside the man with the wolf mask. He's really large with his overly built body. "I'm sorry Hiroka-sama, we haven't introduced ourselves. My name is Leo the Lion, Emperor of the Flames." "I'm Serina the serpent, Empress of the Water." "I am Aero the Falcon, Emperor of the Air." "I am Harambe the Gorilla, Emperor of the Earth." "I am Leila the Lamb, Empress of the Light." "I am Flow the Wolf, Emperor or the Darkness." Each one introduced themselves. "We are the spirit animals that resides in your body Hiroka-sama, we deeply apologize for all that we've done before. Due to territorial dispute, some of us started to fight. We mean no harm and we only want to help and protect you. But after we consume a part of you, we we're given a part to stay without any interruptions. From today until your time ends, we will be at your service. Use us as you please, Hiroka-sama." Leo spoke with respect. "That dragon boy, he made you calmer. Even us. I just hope that he is an ally, not an enemy." Leila added. The six bowed down and a great light blinded me.

We arrive at Kyoto station without any more problems. "Beeeep." My phone rang. "We'll be going to our hotel to rest. We're going to rehearse afternoon and we'll be done by around 4pm. Our live will start at 8pm this time. I want to talk to you about them." Hiroka texted me about their plans. "OK, I'll just rest too and walk around Kyoto while waiting. If anything happens, I'll be there." I replied. "Thank you Ke-chan." She replied back.

After getting some rest at the hotel I'm staying, same as the girls, I went out to explore Kyoto, the land where history and traditions are kept and preserve. As I walk around, I already noticed that there are multiple shrine in an area, one could be needed by specific people. I saw a shrine for well wishing. I went over to the shrine and toss a coin. "I wish Ka-chan to be well for all the time. I don't want her to suffer much as I did." I murmured. After I prayed I saw a stall selling charms, I bought five charms for avoiding bad moments. They need to have more peaceful times for now, I have to stop anything that could potentially hurt them. We aside from what I did to Hiroka. "Beeeep" My phone rang. "Are you out right now? We're just resting on our rehearsal. But I want to explore Kyoto too!!" Hiroka texted me. I don't know how or why but just earlier, she was being eaten by her spirit animal and now, she's complaining about wanting to explore Kyoto. I must say, she really do have a bright soul. "Well, we can check things out after the rehearsal." I replied. "Beeeep". "OK!" She replied back immediately.

After few hours of wandering, I settled down on a traditional cafe that serves tea and sweets. They do offer two kinds of area to relax, first is the public area where you will be sitting somewhat near to another customer and the private room where you can be alone or enjoy your company. They also offer visitors a chance to buy a set of yukata for complete experience. Of course I did get a private area buy one yukata for myself. Hiroka and I agreed to meet here. While waiting, the door to my room opens. "Master, your visitor arrive." A waitress opened the door announcing a visitor. As the waitress leaves, I saw Hiroka, not just in her casual clothes, in a very attractive yukata. Designed with night black color base and an abstract of fireworks. I don't know what to say, I was simply captivated. The small girl I used to play with before, now grows into this fine woman. I can't help but to stare. "Ke-chan, please don't stare too much." Hiroka said while looking down. "I ah... uhhh... I'm sorry." I apologize while getting my composure back. "It's OK." She consorted me. "By the way, you look so cool in yukata Ke-chan." Hiroka compliments me. "You too Ka-chan, you look stunning." I complement back. She sat beside the table opposite to mine.  The waitress came back with another cup and sweets for Hiroka. "Wa... wait. I'll do it." Hiroka stopped the waitress in pouring us our tea. The waitress bowed in acknowledgement and left the room. Hiroka took the teapot and pour tea to my cup and hers. We both took a sip and put our cups down. "Ke-chan, to be honest, I still can't work out what is actually happening right now. You, you can be a dragon. Me, I have six spirit animals that are my body parts and mysteriously regenerated. The girls have no recollection of what happened. The damaged train is fixed. I am aware about beings that can't be seen existed but this is too much for me I think." Hiroka poured her feelings to her words. It's true that no matter how knowledgeable you are in supernatural beings, once you see something outside your perception, you will still have a hard time coping. " I it's hard Ka-chan, I felt that too before. It is commendable that you're still keeping your cool and you're still doing your normal life work while you we just had a traumatising experience." I tried encouraging her. "Thanks Ke-chan. I really can't talk like this with the girls since they don't have any kind of the situations I was before." Hiroka hold my hands. "I was just thankful that I am in time when it was needed." I replied. "Time, Space, Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. That the elements that you have, right?" I asked. "How did you know?" She ask. "How? I just looked at them and I can already know what they are. As a Dragnewt, it was easy to determine." I answered. "But what will happen next?" She inquired. "Since you have them, I could teach you how to make the most out of it." I offered. "Eh? Really?!" "Yes."
