Chicago was cold; it's no wonder it's referred to as the windy city. Enzo had Luigi's sister's address; soon after we landed, we hired a car which is always better than taking a taxi; if anything were to go wrong, we'd have no witnesses.

I didn't want to stay longer, not even overnight. I just wanted to put a bullet through Luigi and head back home. I had a house to buy and a girl to see.

Enzo drove because he was the only one who knew the address; I sat at the back with Bruno at the front. I thought he would sit at the back with me. I looked at him and saw he was holding his gun on his thigh, like he was sure something was about to happen. I looked at his eyes on the side mirror, then looked at Enzo's on the rear mirror. "Damn!" I thought.

"How long is the drive?" I asked, looking at Enzo
"About 15minutes now."
"Where exactly is the house?" Bruno asked, his voice calm like he had no care in the world, but I recognized that calm voice; it was telling me something I had already figured out. Enzo was another traitor.

As we drove further towards our destination, Bruno requested Enzo to stop the car for a few minutes to take a leak. Immediately he stopped the car. Bruno shot him dead through the temple on his left.

"How did you know?" I asked him
"He was fidgeting too much, avoiding eye contact since we left Newyork, and he knew too much personal stuff about Luigi for my comfort had me wondering what his interest in all this was?

"I guess we are about to find out, but first, we need to put his body on the boot, damn it! "I swore. This was going to delay my stay in Chicago, and that pissed me off.

"Why can't we just get rid of it?" Bruno asked me.
"No. I want to show the body to Luigi; I want him to see what we are capable of."

"Will that change the outcome? I mean..you will still kill him," he stated obviously.

"You do not know that; I may decide to be merciful," I said, shooting him a glare.

Bruno just smirked at me and said. "No, you'll not; you will kill him by the end of today, which begs the question. Why drag the body with us? Why do you need the dramatic show?"

"You know me too well, and you're right, I will kill him. I just want to know what he knows, everything he knows, and I intend to instill the fear of God into him before I put a bullet through him.

Bruno gave me a humorless smile. We are killers, we are not proud of it, but we are not going to apologize for it either. It is what it is. We lifted Enzo's body and fit it in the boot, and drove to our destination. He didn't lie about the duration of the time though it took Bruno 10minutes to get us there. He drove too fast, part of the reason why we preferred Romano to drive.

Luigi's sister lived in a small 2bedroom house; I guess I could understand why he wanted to earn fast money but choosing the mafia to earn that money was not a smart choice.

I knocked on the door. Bruno stood slightly behind me; I knew he was alert, listening to any sound as I was. The door suddenly opened, and a woman who I guessed was Luigi's sister stared at me open-mouthed. She didn't speak for almost a minute. She just stared at me.

I have a cursed face, what women called cute, beautiful, handsome, or whatever. I'm used to women staring at me, but this one was pissing me off.

"Oh, sorry, can I help you?" She finally found her voice.

"Yes, I hope you can. I'm looking for your brother, is he in" I answered.

"Sure, come on in." She moved for me to proceed with her, I did, and so did Bruno.
