Alec: Why are you inviting me to this to tell me that dinner's ready? I'm at Magnus's house with Max. And we've already eaten dinner.

Clary: Well, I guess Jace and I will go back to our movie...

Izzy: No! You two downstairs now!

Hotstuff: But Izzy... we already ate.

Clary: We ate lunch! We ate a late lunch and we're still full. Maybe we'll eat later if we become hungry.

Izzy: Why did Simon just tell me that when he passed your room it smelled like pizza?!
