Hailee's POV

To-Bai

I need to go to the mall ASAP!

You at a mall!? I am totally in. Be at yours in 5!

As I wait for Bailee's arrival I put on some mascara,eyeliner and blush.

By the time I fixed my hair and put on a beanie, Bailee was outside banging on the door, when she knew she could just walk in.

Before leaving my house I left a note for my mom and Rose on the counter saying I went to the mall with Bai and I will be home soon.

My puppy Durzo came out of no where outside following me to the fence, hoping to be able to come along.

Shaking my head chuckling I hop onto a texting Bailee's back.

"Hey Hails! What is with the sudden visit to the mall, you hate that place?" she asks looking from her phone to me as we walk down the street.

"You know how I have had a hard time making friends?" She nodded her head and I continued "Well I should change...first with clothes then a new hair style."

I look over at her and she looks like she is in deep concentration.

"Hails is changing yo-" I interrupted her "I know what I want Bai."

I might have said it a little bit bitchy, but I am tired of everyone making sure my choices are good ones, when I know what I am doing.

We walk the rest of the way to the mall in awkward silence.

AT MALL

"Okay, where to first Hails?" Bai asks as we walk into the east side door of the mall.

"How about...Forever 21." I say heading toward the store.

SKIPPING MALL TRIP

We finally are done at the mall and instead of walking 4 blocks back to my house I call my mom to pick us up.

"Hailee...your hair is so....AMAZING!" Bailee yells practically in my ear, also earning a lot of glares from by standers.

"Bailee shut up! Haha!" I say laughing like a carefree person.

Then I feel like someone is watching me and I stop laughing looking around for anyone that could be watching me.

My eyes finally land upon a guy that looks to be around my age staring at me.

I tap a texting Bailee (I swear it is an obsession) "Bai...Bai....Bai...BAILEE!" I yell trying to get her attention.

"What?" she replies not looking up from her phone.

"There is a boy sta- walking over here!" I say freaking out because he is extremely hot!

"Really where!?" she asks trying to pretend to be interested.

I roll my eyes and turn around to look at the boy to find he is standing next to us already.

"Uh hi.." I say nervously.

"Hey, my names Grant." he introduced himself, but all I can think is'OH HOT DAMN!!'

"My name is Hailee and this," I motion towards Bailee "is Bailee, my best friend."

He nods his head and winks walking away.

How strange.
