Chapter 3-- Breaking the Ice

-2 DAYS LATER-

Rose's POV

After our mom told us she was going to be gone for a month I was already planning the big ass party we are going to be having here.

So if that was going to happen I had to jump at this opportunity....until my sister, Hailee, ruins this.

So I said yes, but Hailee had other plans.

I was too busy planning in my head to pay any attention.

Next thing I know my mom is walking out the door and I am texting away on my phone.

This party is going to be the best!!

Hailee's POV

After my mom left I looked at Rose and she was furiously texting on her phone with a giant smile on her face.

I sighed and we t back upstairs to Kale and Bailee and Durzo came out of nowhere and followed me.

"What was that about?" Bailee asks me.

"Well my mom is going on a 'business trip' for a month, and Rose and I are staying here alone." I say laying on my floor and I think I saw Kale pout when I didn't sit next to him.

"What! That is awesome!" Bailee says while looking at her phone screen.

"What is awesome?" Kale asks her.

"N-n-nothing." She replies blushing.

Oh my grannyma! Bai is totes crushing on Kale!!

"You didn't sound so sure about that Bai." I say walking over to her.

But Kale was already straddling her and holding her arms so I could grab her phone.

Bailee wasn't struggling under Kale....but she was staring at him shocked with her mouth hung open.

"Hm I bet it was porn! What do you think Kale? Should we find out?" I ask Kale.

He just laughs and gets off of Bailee walking over to me.

I look at her phone to see a text from Rose

Rose~ FWD--145 PARTY MY HOUSE TONIGHT 6pm ;)

(A/N FWD--145 means it was forwarded/sent to 145 people...)

To say I was not surprised would be an understatement.

Of course Rose would throw a party as soon as our mom leaves!

"I can't believe her!" I say handing Bailee her phone.

"I think it will be fun! OH MY GAWD!! I have to go home to get ready!" Bailee says gathering her stuff.

"See ya around Bai." Kale says as she walks to the door of my room.

"Bye Bai!" I say.

"So...do you want to come to my house...I know you don't like parties?" Kale asks.

"Sure...who is there?" I ask.

"No one....dad is stuck in California for his business trip." He says.

"Oh okay....lets go then." I say.

-AT KALE'S HOUSE-

When Kale and I reached his house, we went into the living room to watch movies.

"So what do you want to watch?" Kale asks sitting next to me on the love seat.

"How about........'The Grudge 3'!" I say with excitement.

"Okay." Kale says putting on the movie.

After watching 2 commercials that come on the movie, I get bored so I poke Kales cheek saying "Can you skip this shit, and get to the movie!?"in

He laughs and replies "Anything for you love." And he winks at me.

"Thank you." I say giggling.

Finally the movie starts.

-HALFWAY THROUGH THE MOVIE-

I am no sitting on Kales lap hiding my face in his chest.

"Hailee....we can turn it off if you want." He says.

"Please do!!" I yell still hiding my face still.

After Kale pauses the movie we just sit there in comfortable silence....until my stummy (A/N stomach sounds gross and tummy sounds like a little kid do I made Stummy) starts talking to me.

"Is Hailee hungry?" Kale asks smiling at me in his arms as he walks to the kitchen.

"Yes!" I say blushing then hiding my face with my hair.

He sets me down on a stool and asks "What do you want to eat madam." he says in a terrible british accent.

"Um..." I say walking over to the fridge to see what is in there.

While I am looking in the fridge for food I feel arms wrap around my waist.

I turn around in the person's arms.

I see Kale standing there staring at me and I just stare back at him.

Then the fridge door closes and wakes me from my trance.

I look away from him saying "What are you doing Ka-" I am interrupted by someones lips on mine.....and by someone it must be Kale because he is the only one here.

I can't help but kiss him back.

Then all too soon he pulls away.

We are both breathing hardly just standing in awkward silence.

Finally I just push Kale away.

"Hailee....I am sorry....I don't know what overcame me." He says.

"Are you kidding!? That was the best kiss I have gotten from anyone..." I reply.

Kale comes over to me "Hailee I need to tell you something." He says uneasily.

"I love you...I always have and always will. I would have said something sooner, but you never showed the same feelings for me so I thought it was no use..that is why I avoided you all summer.....to get over you." He says looking at me to see my expression.

All I can think is wow!

"Um...I-I need to go." I say leaving the kitchen to the hall where my shoes and coat is.

"Hailee! Wait please! What did I do wrong?" He begs me.

Honestly I am not mad just this is......too much....

I know if a guy told you he loved you, you would be over joyed...I am... I like Kale....but I am not looking for a relationship right now....not when I have very few friends....not when I have few people to trust.
