Omg thank you to everyone who are reading my work and voting!! Thank you so much for the 1k views!! You people are the best! Here it goes:
'And I am scared, scared for my life'
'Is this her?'
'Of course, I am absolutely sure'
'If she isn't the princess, I am gonna break your ass- Got it? You better not lie to me you pest!'
'I wouldn't dare! I swear on my life, master - its her!'
'Stop you both! Stop wasting time and decide whether we give her to Doreem or the king' A third voice interrupted.
'From whomever we will get more gold'.
'Doreem is offering 500 golds for her'.
'Then it is settled'.
'We will hand her to the guards'.
The chuckles were the last thing I heard as I went into oblivion.
I couldn't move. I couldn't open my eyes. Everything hurt, everything numb..who were they? What are they going to do to me? They are going to give you to Doreem!! Thats what they are going to do, maybe things even worse! No no nooo! How did this happen? Where was Cale? God what had these bastards given me..I tried to open my eyes and winced as the light blinded me. I needed to escape, common Lia you can do this. Keep trying. Don't give up. I fought for some movement but the drug was more stronger than me. I tried and tried but eventually the drug dragged me to the never ending abyss of nothingness.
I fell.
And fell.
Till there was only darkness surrounding me.
I didn't know how much hours had passed. How many days. But the drugs weren't wearing off . I tried to move my toes and they twitched too lightly for anyone to notice.
I pushed and pulled. I tugged and fought, harder and harder against the drugs. I ripped myself open so that the drugs might leak away. Slowly, too slowly I could feel them slipping away. I opened my eyes and squinted them to look at the surroundings. Everything around me was gray- walls, floors. Everything was made out of stones. Heat from the hearth trickled my skin under the tunic I wore. I tried to sit up and gasped suddenly as the pain tore through my body. It was too much. I couldn't take it. I yelled out - loud enough to shatter ears.
"Shut up!"
I gasped in pain as a hand yanked me to a sitting position and slapped me hard against the cheek.
"How did you fight the drugs?" A man seemed to be in middle thirties snarled in my face. His breath smelled of ale. His knuckles and knees were bruised and he wore brown worn out clothes.
Tears prickled my eyes, I had never been slapped or hit before. Hold it in lia. Don't give him satisfaction by crying or appearing weak. You'll get out of this. You have far too many promises to keep.
