Chapter 4

5 2 1

Hey guys, hope you like the book! Here is a picture of Sky (silver and Moon's big sister).

"Oh. My. God." I moaned. I threw my last t shirt on the floor.

Why am i freaking out about this. Timber and I are just hanging out. Two gay guys just going out and getting some food. totally no homo. Right?

I sighed and picked  another t shirt with Breaking Benjamin's Phobia album in the front. I slipped the shirt over my head and looked at myself in the mirror. i have a very lanky build, and  flat as a board.I was okay with it, but i didn't have much under my shirt, I have no muscle whatsoever. I'm too lazy to even get up out of bed on the weekends.

I really need to keep myself in shape.

I'm  short. 5,3. Five inches to short for my age group. and the last thing I want it to be Fat and short.I checked the time and I only had five minutes. I ran into the bathroom to brush my teeth for the fourth time. I fixed my hair and went downstairs to wait for Timber .

In the living room, my mom, Bridget, and stepmom, April, were cuddled up watching a movie. i sat down next to them, trying to calm down but my hands were shaking really bad that my mom noticed.

"Nervous?" She asked.

"A little."

"Don't be. Just be yourself. And if he doesn't like who you are, then he doesn't deserve your time." I couldn't help but smile. That is what my mom does. She's a therapist. A good one at that.

I kept looking at my phone as the minutes hticked by.  6:56, 7:00,7:07, 7:15.

Then seven thirty rolled around and this thought finally hit me

this was all a joke. He's just like the rest of them. How could he do this. He played me. Just like that.

The doorbell rang just as I was about to run in upstairs where I  would cry myself to sleep. But no, not today.

I opened the door and my breath was taken away. Timber was there. This wasn't a trick, he wasn't like the rest of them. He was there. I was so tempted to touch him, just so I could know that he wasn't just a figment of my imagination. But I felt he would be weirded out so I didn't.

"You ready?" He asked

"Yeah."

He then peeked over my shoulder to my moms.

"I'll have home home by then Mrs Quitterson. Is that alright?"

My mom chuckled and said "make it eleven. But not a moment later."

"You got it," he then turned to me." C'mon let's go." He grabbed my hand and led me to his car. His car was no stallion but it looked moderate and clean. And this Is where Timber and I became more than friends.
