The Second Mission *COMPLETED*

The Drive

We leave the building in our brand new car. It was dark the stars were beautiful, they where so clear and pretty. Space is such a weird thing to think about it boggles my mind every time. There might be other life forms out there and that thought gets my mind all in a knot. If there are other life forms out there I bet there are having a way better time then I am.

I take the car onto a dirt path. It's kinda scary at night there is absolutely no light except the light of the car. Wait there is a figure just up the road is it a human? We get about 10 meters away from it and I realize it's a zombie. I look over a Dan and his eyes where wide open with either shock or terror. I speed up the car. Running it over should be fun. Dan is clutching the arm rests so hard his knuckles are turning white. *Bam* I hit the zombie so hard blood splattered all over the windshield. Dan lets out the most girly scream ever. It was kinda hilarious actually. I look over at him and smile he didn't smile back his face was still in shock. I wipe the blood off with the windshield wipers zombie blood is not a nice sight to see. Two hours went by and I got off the dirt road.

It was 2:00 now and Dan was asleep. We are almost at the hospital where my mom works it will only be about another twenty minutes or so. Should I wake Dan up? Nah I will let him sleep he needs to rest. Come to think of it so do I. But I force myself to stay awake the more time we waste the more of a chance my mom will get hurt. Pinching myself to stay awake every so often, a half a hour goes by and I pull up to the hospital.

I punch Dan in the arm to wake him up. "Wake up sleeping beauty." His eyes open ever so slowly and he rubes his arm. "Ow." His voice was low from just waking up. I like his high pitched voice better is suits him more. The sun was rising as we left the car. The hospital wasn't very big it only holds about 800 people in it buts it's the only one around so it's very busy. But it seems like there is no one here. This is the moment of truth. I open the big glass doors, entering the building but it was pitch black.
