I don't even know what I'm writing yet.

Update: I figured out what I'm writing.

-----------------TEXT PREVIEW-----------------
'"I just think we should have some space apart this Summer," Michael sighs.

"I don't want space between us, I only want to get closer," Luke smirked and Michael could only roll his eyes in response.

"I know." Michael rolled said, all too well aware of Luke's sexual fantasies.'

--

'"You need to calm the fuck down." Luke was horrible at this. He didn't understand how to comfort people. He only knew how to rile them up and even encourage them, sometimes.

"Not today, I don't have time for calm. I need a blunt object and a gps. That's all I need." Ashton says, pacing around while he searched. "Where do you keep your bat?"

"Listen, maybe it's not what you think," Luke says, resting a hand on Ashton's shoulder gingerly. He was a little nervous to touch him, Luke had never seen Ashton so upset before. He had always known him as the nice, cute librarian that he had gotten to know over the Summer. '

--

'He tried shaking him, but he continued to lay there, his skin cold and clammy as his lifeless gaze was fixated on the white, chipped plaster of the ceiling. And Calum wasn't sure what to do next. He wasn't sure who to call or what to say, his mind was hazy and he couldn't think because of the anxious feeling building inside of him so all he did was sit.'

The look of innocence Luke always had impressed Michael, since he was quite the opposite in reality. Luke was his best friend who had been "in love" with him for years and would never let him forget it. He didn't mind Luke's one-sided love in their friendship, but he was concerned about their dependency for each other.

With Michael not having much in life and Luke having a lack of lacking, Luke was the main provider for Michael, from his car to his school lunch. Luke never minded helping out Michael, it hardly made a dent in his allowance and Michael was always there for him, not just to fight off the threats, but emotionally too.

So, after deciding to change things up a little, Michael and Luke go their separate ways during the Summer to grow less reliant on each other.

Will they be able to find their own individuality in their time spent away from each other? Or will they find it to be a disaster from the start without their life long friend?

Summer changes everything for Luke and Michael, who find that this life can be much more difficult without someone to trust in.
