"Thank you for dinner." I say to Hanna's mom. I still don't know her name. "No. Thank you." She smiles back at me. "Well we better be getting to bed." Hanna says and winks at me. "Yeah." I smile and head upstairs.

"Why did you Wink at me?" I laugh. "I brought things for you." She smiles and looks in her bag. "Cookies?!" She says and hands me a big chocolate chip cookie. I smile. "Thank you." Now I'm smiling really big. I hear Hanna's phone ring. She looks at it And frowns. I'm just about to take a bite of the cookie until she swats it away. "What was that for?!" I ask/yell at her. "You'll thank me later." She said. "Why? What happened to that cookie?" I ask. "You want to see what's in it?" She ask me sarcastically. "Yes." I say back. She grabs the cookie and breaks it. I see a little metal thing. "This is a chip. Not a chocolate chip. A chip that can see where your going and where you are. That's Why I didn't want you to eat it." She explains. I nod my head.

I wake up. When did I go to sleep? "Hanna?" I say looking around the room. She's no where. So I get up and look in the- Almost every where in the room. "I'm right here." She scared me. "You scared me." I say turning to her. "Are you okay?" She asks me and puts her hand on my forehead. "No I only remember when you showed me what was inside the cookie." I say. "So you ate another." She said worried. "What's wrong?" I ask her. "You-you don't remember anything?" "No, why?" I ask. "Lay down." She tells me, so I lay down. "Let me see your neck." She says. I lift up my short hair and show her the back of my neck. "Oh God." I hear her whisper. "What?! What is it?!" I start to panic. "You remember the chip that was in that cookie?" She asks. "Yeah. Why?" I ask. "It's in your neck." My eyes go wide. I start to panic. "WHAT?! GET IT OUT! GET IT OUT!" "Calm down. It happened to me too before." She said. "Spencer knows how to get it out." She tells me and looks at her phone. "I got to get to school. Caleb is going to watch y-" I cut her off. "I want Ezra to watch me." I tell her. She gives me a confused look. "Pleaseeee." I beg her. "Fine. I'll call Ezra and tell Caleb that you changed your mind." Then she gets up.

"Thank you Hanna." I smile at her as she leaves. She waves bye, to me. "Hi," I smile at Ezra. "What are we going to do today?" I ask him as he grabs his bag. "Do you want to get some breakfast downstairs?" He asks me. "Sure." I say as we head downstairs.
