Sofia's P.O.V

"Sof! You'll never guess what just happened at work!" Charlie burst into the apartment taking me by surprise.

"What?! What happened" I replied with the same amount of energy. I genuinely was excited.

"My video for Dangerously was a hit! So I can release the deluxe album in the next week!" He explained whilst hanging his coat on the rack.

"Baby, I'm so happy for you. This is great!" I stood up hugging him.

"Thanks princess" We stood in our warm embrace for a while before he pulled his head back.

"I totally forgot, how's work as Execitive Manager"

"Not nearly as exciting as yours" I giggled looking up at him.

"It's stressful alright, but I could get used to having my own intern" he chuckled at my response.

"Plus you look great in your pencil dresses and skirts" he smirked.

"Charlie!" I lightly smacked his chest and eased out of the hug. I walked into the kitchen and poured a glass of coke.

"Chaz?" I called out after some time.

"Yeah" he shouted back from the bedroom.

"How about Chinese tonight? I don't really feel like cooking"

"Sure Sof, I don't mind"

We sat cuddled up on the sofa, with full tummies, watching the new X-men Apocalypse on Netflix. Being so warm and comfy I let my eyes seep into a deep sleep.

When I awoke I was in our bedroom with Charlie fast asleep beside me. He must've carried me to bed last night.

With no sleep left in me I figured that it was time to shower. After struggling to get out of Charlie's grasp I got to the bathroom and turned the faucet to the right.

"Hey baby, did you have a good sleep" I said as I felt Charlie's arms wrap around my waist. I was in the process of making French Toast on the stove. He groaned in response then nuzzled his head into my neck.

"Or should I ask if you're still having a good sleep" I giggled.

"When do you start work?" I added after some silence.

"Uhm, I think at 12" he croaked.

"You best get ready then, because this won't be ready for a while and you won't have time to get ready after breakfast if you start at 12" He sighed in exasperation and reluctantly slipped away down the hall.

"Okay Sofia, you've got a meeting in 5 minutes with the Head Commissioner of Enterprise Studios and another meeting after that with the Board about our company's latest product." My intern, Louise informed me, whilst chasing after me.

"Okay thanks, Louise. Can you just grab me an Americano with cream for now" I replied, setting the files I was carrying on my desk. She nodded and left the room hastily.

The joys of being Executive Manager.

"Hey, Chaz. I'm home" I yelled as I took my heels and shutting the door behind me.
No reply.
I walked through the little corridor by the door and placed my purse on the counter.

"Charlie?" I tried again. This time unlocking my phone and getting ready to call him.
No reply.

I pressed the green phone under his number and put my phone on speaker, placing it beside my purse. As the phone rang, I turned the lights in the kitchen on and opened the fridge to browse for leftovers.
