It started when I dropped my phone, well almost dropped my phone. I took it out the case and then it slipped out of my hand when I was going down the stairs. As soon as it slipped I grabbed for it as fast as I could. Then it just stopped an inch off the ground. I was stunned standing there for a moment. When I reached for it, it fell that last inch with no damage.

Needless to say I was completely and utterly confused. After I'm pretty sure I laid on my bed staring at my phone for an Hour trying to solve the mystery of what had just happened. The only conclusion I came to was crazy, stupid, and insane. I thought I went mad until it happened again.

I tried to use it this time. As crazy as it was I had to try it. I did what all the movies and books thought me concentrate and start small. So that's what I did. I focused on a Cheerio lying on the counter. I tried to move it from one stain to another, and after fifteen minutes I did it. It moved a slither, but I did it.

It wasn't easy though. It took a lot. I thought of how far to move it, where to move it, I even imagined moving it before it even thought of moving a millimeter. I even put my hand out like the dramatic movies, and ran though these thoughts a million times, with focus I never knew I had. It took forever, but when it finally happened it was, for a second, like me and the Cheerio where the only things in the world.

The feeling after was triumphant, confused, and curious all at once. I was happy that I wasn't insane. I was clueless as to how it was possible. I was curious as to what this ability, power, or gift's limits and/or if I had more than one. This opened up so many more questions.

Are there more like me?

Are their powers the same or a variety?

Are they more or less powerful?

Should I tell someone or is it too dangerous?

Why would it be dangerous?

Is there someone who knows about me and/or us?

Although I can't answer all the millions of questions in my mind I do know one thing. It's safer to keep to myself until I do have some of these answers.
