I and Riya left to office, I started my silent treatment to Riya for lying to me in her love matter.With in half an hour she got the point that I am angry and came to my cabin to known what made me angry.
Riya:Manu tell me na why are you not talking to me?
Me:I don't talk to a liar
Riya:Oh god don't say that..I am not a liar
Me:If not why you lied to me that you accepted Jai a few days back
Riya:I always want to tell u but I am scared about your reaction so I pretended to u..Sorry she said by holding her ears with her hands
Me:I smiled and said I am forgiving u because you send me my favorite red roses today.
Riya:Me?She gave me a confused look.
Me:Yes u send me right,this morning
Riya: No I didn't send you any bouquet
Me: If u not then who send me that roses
Riya: who knows,but i thank them for that.she said and started teasing me.
Me: I glared at her but she continued to tease.
Later she went to her work, I started thinking that who send me that bouquet but I ended up without finding any answer....
After one month:
Riya's POV:
Riya wake up you stupid..Wake up a hand patted me on my shoulder..I slowly opened my eyes and saw Manu standing in front me.
Me:Good morning Manu!
Manu:Idiot get up, today is your engagement,but you still lying on bed without any tension.
Me: Don't worry Manu let me sleep for some more time please, I said and again closed my eyes.
Suddenly I felt water flushed on my face and I irritatingly opened my eyes, that idiot flushed water on my face.
How dare u manu I glared at her and started running after her to catch her
Wait u idiot,just stop there I shouted,but she didn't listen to my words and rushed into the living room.
"I will kill you manu" I said as she stood behind the sofa and moving to the other side whenever I try to catch her.
"Just wait and see what I will do when I will catch you" I said and she just laughed continuing to play this chasing. we ran like this around the house.
At last I caught her and flushed water on her face and we both started laughing by taking heavy breath due to our running race.
Later we both walked into my room to get ready for my engagement.
One day I decided to talk with my parents about my love. I am very panicked,dad shouted on me when I said about Jai and mom too supported dad.I started crying, manu hold my hand and dragged me into my room and made me sit on the bed.she comforted me for some time and went out to talk with my parents.
Till today I don't know how she convinced my parents but I am happy that today I am going to engage with Jai.Thinking all these things I finished my bath and walked out of the washroom.
I dressed into a royal blue colour lehanga,it is heavily embroidered with gold thread work and silver stones attached here and there.Along with matching bangles,ear rings and pendant set which Jai gifted me.
Manu braided my hair and applied little make up on my face.
"Looking very pretty"she said and I blushed.I don't know that my friend knows how to blush she teased and I hitted her with a pillow then she went to the guest room to get ready.
