"(N/N)-chaaaaaan~!"

   (Y/N), the wife of Mephisto Pheles, glanced over at a familiar blondie with the most stunning pair of blue eyes. His overwhelmingly friendly grin brought an overwhelming warmth to the 18 year old's cheeks. The beautifully accurate twin of Alice from Alice in Wonderland jumped up and hugged her. (Y/N) staggered as the teen boys pegs wrapped around her waist before another pair of limbs caught the girl. (E/C) eyes met the gaze of the concerned brown eyes.

"You okay, (N/N)-chan?", Yosuke, a 17 year old from Yasogami High asked with worry lacing his caring tone of voice. The demon's betrothed couldn't find the words to say to the two gentlemen.

"I'm alright. Thank you, Yosuke.", (Y/N) gave the boy with dyed hair a smile of gratitude before flinching at the stabbing touch of a cold shiver running down her spine. It felt as though someone was sending pointy daggers towards the back of the (h/c) haired girls head. The blondie who clutched around (Y/N)'s torso shivered from the unwanted attention also.

"Why do I feel like someone's planning to kill me?! It's beary cold out here! (N/N)-Chan, give your love to warm this bear's freezing heart!"

"Teddie, how many times do I have to tell you this?! Stop being so clingy towards (Y/N)! You know she doesn't like being hugged!", said the prince of Junes as he tried to pull Junes mascot off the paralyzed female. (Y/N) yelped after Teddie was pulled off of her. Much to Yosuke annoyance, the bear jumped and hugged (Y/N) just like he did when he first approached her. (Y/N) didn't even notice the all too familiar silver haired protagonist gazing at the three with a happy yet worried smile. However she couldn't help but think as she glanced around her timidly.

'Is it just me? Or did the tension suddenly get more heavy out here?'

After (Y/N) had gotten home the tension only increased. (Y/N) was beginning to take off her shoes until the pointed hot pink boots she was all too familiar with stopped infront of her. Gazing up at her husband of 3 months, a shiver shook her muscles as a very disappointed and angry glare was shot towards her.

"What?"

   Mephisto sighed heavily at his spouse's lack of interest. How could she not feel guilt for her betrayal towards him? Did she not love Mephisto enough to stay loyal to the demon king for eternity? Or was the queen of time so dense to not notice how heartbroken and furious Mephisto was?

"Who were those men?", Mephisto growled after mentioning the imbeciles who dared to touch his queen.

"Some friends from Inaba. I used to go to school with them a while back."

   It was then (Y/N) noticed the glint of doubt in the libertine's emerald eyes. Shrugging this off, (Y/N) walked past Mephisto and into the living room. Mephisto held back the growl and resumed on the interrogation needed to ensure that a certain girl knows her place.

"What are your feelings towards those two?"

"Why are you asking me after I just told you my feelings? They're my friends! Nothing more. I don't get why you're so upset about me hanging out with my old buddies.", (Y/N) replied with confusion as Mephisto looked into her eyes for any signs of lying. It was then (Y/N) figured out why she felt so uneasy when hanging out with Yosuke and Teddie. Mephisto was watching them. Mrs. Faust then concluded that the reason why her husband was so upset and doubtful of her was because of how friendly (Y/N)'s old classmates were acting.

"Do you...", (Y/N) took a deep breath before rephrasing her sentence. "Did you think I was cheating on you?"

"I don't think you are cheating on me... I'll have to be honest I don't have a clue why I'm so upset. You don't know how much I wanted to strangle that annoying bear friend of yours every moment he began to flirt with you. I don't understand why my chest hurt every time you laughed at that idiot every time he made a joke that even I don't find amusing. All I ever wanted... Was to protect you, and cherish you for the rest of my life. That's why I need to show you where you stand in the relationship."

"Aw~ Mepphy's jealous of Yo-Yo and Teddie! That's so adorable!"

   Mephisto glared with flushed cheeks as his soulmate teased him about his new feelings. His blush only deepened when a pair of soft pink lips pecked his own. Her arms snaked around his neck before slightly pulling back to gaze into those deep emerald green eyes.

"You know... I have to admit I do like this side of you better. But next time you get jealous remember that I will always love you and you only. Okay, Mepphy?"

   Never once had Mephisto ever felt this happy in the entire time he lived in Assiah. (Y/N) was the first woman to ever make him feel a emotion more meaningful than the cruel user called lust.
