Dreams are like mirrors,
They make you see into the future,
Or reflect the images of the past...

The breeze blows coolly sending pleasing shivers through her every nerve, her body tingles and she stands there, her hair loosened and left to hang freely down her shoulder, her gown has flowery patterns and is long enough to cover her feet, she closes her eyes and hums her favorite song lightly, the blowing breeze provides rhythm and she dances gracefully.

Ding.

Dong.

Ding .

Dong.

Until the tide changes, the breeze becomes violent, the wind howling and making frightening sounds. She opens her eyes and looks around but quickly closes them again to avoid sand particles from entering her eyes. After a while, the sound stops and she opens her eyes.

The place looks unfamiliar and people are gathered looking at her in disgust, soon they start spitting, yelling and throwing objects at her.
She runs away quickly, blocking her ears tight with her tiny fingers.

Rahma sat up on the too fluffy bed abruptly, tears forming at the corner of her eyes and making them sting. She allowed the hot tears flow freely and held her head in her hands.
This is the same nightmare that has been haunting her for months, she shook her head and wonder how life can be so cruel.

She's young, just fourteen but is unfortunate enough to have belonged to her family, now she's being haunted by a past that she knew nothing about.

"I just have to break the curse" she said aloud amidst sobs and wiped her tears.

She looked at the clock hung delicately on the wall in front of her,the clock that made it a duty to make its presence known to her forcefully...it's been ticking since forever breaking through the silence.

She chuckled sightly at her thoughts about the clock and head downstairs following the voice that she heard... That of Majeedah.

She should be in the kitchen, considering that she left her room just about thirty minutes ago.
