Saturday morning Connor woke up in Troye's arms, a moment of bliss before he realizes the hell that is about to break loose on he and his lover.

He gets up and makes his coffee, leaving Troye to sleep. He begins to prepare breakfast, a simple frittata and some turkey bacon. He was trying to cut down on fat.

As he flips the bacon, he feels arms around his waist, and turns to see his boyfriend looking up at him with sleepy eyes. "Hi babe." Connor greets his boyfriend, then leans down to kiss his lips. "Gmorning." Troye rasps, then goes to pour himself a cup of coffee.

He rubs his eyes sleepily, looking much like a child as he does so. "Do you need more sleep?" Connor suggests, raising an eyebrow. "Of course not!" Troye gasps, but yawns almost instantly after. "Babe, did you sleep at all last night?" Connor asks, and Troye shrugs.

"My mind wouldn't stop reeling. All night, all I could think of was us losing our jobs just because we're in love." Troye sighs, leaning his head down on Connor's kitchen table. They had been sleeping at Connor's house lots lately.

Connor walks to the table and wraps his arms around Troye, kissing his shoulder then his cheek. "We're gonna be fine. We'll figure it out, I promise." Connor promises his boyfriend, then pulls him up and into his bedroom, down the hall. "Now." He says, helping his boyfriend into bed. "You rest up, okay?" Connor kisses Troye's forehead after tucking him in. He then moves to the bright window, pulling down the black out curtains until the room goes black.

"I'm gonna go finish breakfast, I'll save you a plate." Connor promises, then leaves the room, shutting the door behind him. As Troye drifts off into a deep sleep, he can't help but think about how damned lucky he is.

Troye wakes up around 1pm again, groggy and confused. He blinks a few times, looking around the darkened room. "Con?" He calls, slightly panicked that his boyfriend isn't there. "Babe I'm in the shower, just give me a minute!" Connor calls from the ensuite. Troye sits up in bed, looking for his phone on the nightstand next to the bed. No texts or anything. Weird.

Connor soon steps out of the bathroom, wearing only a towel that is hanging loosely around his waist. "Let's get some light in here, yeah?" Connor suggests, to which Troye nods. Connor opens the curtains, lighting up the room beautifully. "Now, I didn't get my morning kisses!" Connor complains, sitting on the bed, on top of Troye's legs. "Well that can be fixed, after I brush my teeth!" Troye stands up, running into the bathroom and swiftly grabbing his toothbrush and toothpaste.

"I've never seen anyone so excited to brush their teeth." Connor notes. "It's because I'm excited to kiss you!" Troye admits, and Connor awes. "You're so cute." Connor groans, kissing Troye's cheek. "You smell so good! Troye notes, and Connor nods his head. "It's a new body wash!" Connor announces, fanning himself so Troye can smell more. "Mm, I need to have a shower then!" Troye speaks through a mouthful of toothpaste.

He quickly finishes brushing his teeth, then sits up on the counter, waiting for Connor to fix up his hair. Once Connor's gaze is on him, he puckers his lips, looking quite similar to a child. "Love you." Troye whispers, kissing his boyfriend passionately. "No matter what, we'll stay together, right?" Troye asks after they pull back from their short kiss."Of course, babe." Connor promises, kissing Troye's nose.

"I have to go meet Mr. Graham now." Connor mumbles, his bottom lip trembling. "Good luck." Troye whispers, snaking his arms around Connor's neck, leaning down to kiss his nose. "It's gonna be okay."

"I hope so."

Hey peaches! Short chapter... I've been thinking about maybe getting this story published. I would likely cut out the smut scenes, because my family would likely read the book.
