I don't know where we are. One minute Jasper and I were staring into this magical portal and the next we're on what seems like a tropical island. "Ummm...Theo are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Jasper questioned me nervously. "Yeah," I responded perplexed. I don't have the words to describe what I am feeling. Nothing seems real. Don't get me wrong now, it is all astonishing. But I was speechless. I was petrified and in awe. Who knows what Jasper was feeling, I felt the need to ask so I did. "I-I'm well I don't know'" he finally said. I understood how he didn't know what to feel. We were on this wet and warm dirt. There were vines and monstrous trees everywhere. It was like we were characters in a fairy tale book or movie. "Im hungry," Jasper announced. I suddenly became hungry too. We started looking around and I saw smoke in the air. "That way," I said unsure about my decision. He followed. We walked for what seemed like an eternity. Finally! We came across a cabin and there was a fire. No one was in the house so we let ourselves in. "I don't about this," Jasper said tensely. I didn't know either but we were in a land unknown to us so this idea had made the most sense to me. We walk into what appeared to be a kitchen. Suddenly the door slams. Jasper holds a tight grip on my shoulder. And the room is silent. "Hello," a deep and unknown voice said.
