"Hey, Y/N! I need to talk to you a minute." A male's voice said, toward a doorway to a gray office. Your boss waved toward you as you turned around, your H/L (hair length) hair swinging. "Oh, hello Dale," you replied as you took a few strides toward him. "What do you need to talk about?" Dale led you toward the office and closed to light brown door. He motioned for you to sit down on a swivel chair in front of the desk. He sat down behind the desk in an identical, black swivel chair. "I've been asking your coworkers if they celebrate Halloween, and I thought it was time I've asked you. Since it's tomorrow, I was wondering if you would like to take a day off." He paused before speaking again. "It won't take any vacation days from you. You can enjoy yourself." A smile spread across your face. "Yes, of course I celebrate Halloween! I would love a day off, since this year it's on a work day. Thank you so much, Dale," you talked a little quick, excitement building up in your voice. "Y/N, watch out for the day time trick or treaters. They'll take all your candy before night." You laughed at this small comment. "Nobody comes to the door, anyway."

You swung your leather bag over your shoulder and flung open the door, smiling the whole way. The sun was getting ready to set, and you jumped into your car. You turned the key and closed the door before putting on your seat belt. You then backed out of your parking spot and headed home.

Before you got home, though, you decided to pick up some fast food. It wasn't the healthiest choice, but you didn't really care. You opened the door to your house and walked in. You sat on the couch in front of your TV and turned it on. You ate your food silently while watching the television, and you stood up to throw away your trash before going back to the sofa. While watching TV, you fell asleep.
