I ran home at an inhuman speed and packed a backpack to bring with me. I packed two changed of clothes, food, water, a flashlight, a blanket, my phone, money and a sleeping bag. I threw on a jacket and slung the backpack on my shoulders. i went downstairs and opened the door to leave and the door to be greeted by Liam standing there.
"Where are you going?" He asked, confused.
"I don't know exactly,but I'm leaving Devenford." I said softly.
"Why?" Liam asked, heartbreakingly sad' He had tear in his eyes. So did I. I was leaving my best friend and I can't tell him why.
"I-I can't tell you Liam." I said sadly, looking down.
"Why not" Liam said, a bit angry.
"You wouldn't understand Liam." I replied.
"Try me." He dared.
"Liam, I can't tell you and it's for your own good. " I said.
"So your leaving and you can't tell me why. We're best friends Y/N! Tell me why you're leaving!"Liam yelled. Tears were streaming down his face, me too. I sighed.
"I just can't tell you Liam, okay. I'm sorry, but I just can't. We are best friend and I know what I'm doing and I'm doing this for your own good. I promise I will never forget you Liam Dunbar." I said, crying. Liam had more tears than me streaming down his face than me, but he nodded. We hugged tightly for what seemed like forever but when we let go it broke.
"Bye Liam."
"Byy Y/N" And with that I ran off into the night.
