I couldn't beleive it. My neighbor was a vampire. The thing we were trying to get away from each and every time we moved. Does this mean we have to move again? Shoot. I liked it here. And I hate trains.

But a vampire? And our NEXT DOOR neighbor? What if the little vamp goes to the same school as me! Oh I'll give him a peice of my mind... someday...

"Alex!" mom barked.

"What now?" I replied

"I said since you discovered the smell, you get to choose your room first!" She explained

"Awww man!" I said as I ran through the door and choose a room. It was a lighter brown than the outside and had cream carpet. It was also HUGE. AND had a walk-in closet and a bathroom. Eh. I would change the stuff to match my room later.

We didn't bring much stuff from home; just a few valuebles and some sleeping bags for all the kids.

"Mom?" I said

"Yes, Alex?" she replied

"Does this mean we have to move again? 'Cause I don't think I can live to go on another train. And I don't want to buy another house. Plus, there's a full moon tonight!" I explained. Mom stared at me.

"Bud, I can't take another train either but tonight is a full moon! I don't think our house is big enough to hold eight werewolves! Alex, we might have to go to the forest behind our house tonight." She finally said

Forest? What forest? Then I looked back. There it was. No wonder mom and dad chose this house.

"Mom what if the vampire smells or sees us?" I said as I sniffed the air, "Excuse me. VampireS!"

"I don't know Buddy. Maybe we can make a truce?" Mom suggested

I uncovered my scar and said, "Really? Remember what happened last time we made a tready? Ugh! If it wasn't for those stupid vampires, we would still be home!"

"I know, Bud. Maybe these ones are different. Its worth a shot."

"Fine. Just no name mentioning."

"Ok."
