Chapter 3 // The party

"OK stop with the eyebrows remember this is not a battlefield."

"All's fair in love and war." She says in her posh accent.

"Jesus Christ don't start going all poetic on me."

OK... Were getting off topic. So?"

"So what??" I say pretending to be oblivious.

"You and Jason?"

"Well, we talked for a bit-"

"And then you made out?"

"No, then we came down stairs"

"Oh well, that's boring."

"That's my life."

"Umm excuse me?"

"Except you," I say hugging her.

"Obviously." She says hugging me back there was a couple of minutes silence then Alex says. "Well, when you were gone Casper kissed me."

"Ohmilord! Details!" And so she did and we got the drinks went back out and started playing Monopoly. Jason was the top hat, Carter was the boat, Alex was the dog and I was the car.

We played this for a couple of hours. Then we got up and got some food it was 8 ish now and people will be arriving soon. So I go to the toilet and check how I look. When I come out Jason is outside.

"Hey, I wanna talk to you." He says pressing me up against the wall and I touch his stomach just to check that its real and it is.

"About?" I says trying to be really casual about this.

"My feelings for you," He moves a piece of hair out of my face and leaving his hand on my neck, "You're driving me insane you know?"

"No I didn't." Then the impossible happened and he kissed me and ohmelord he was a great kisser and this was my first kiss. Then Alex shouted:

"Hey, guys where are you?" And then Jason looked back to me and then kissed me on the forehead.

"See ya later babe."

"Bye" Was all I could manage and a little wave. I went into Alex's room and checked my make-up, my lipstick was smudged so I re-did it and went back down stairs. When I got there Jason smiled at me and motioned for me to come and sit next to him and I did but I left a considerable distance in between but he pulled me into him and put his arm around me. I was a bit tense at first but then after a while, I just snuggled into him and leant my head against his collarbone and soon I fall into a beautiful sleep.

I wake to a heavenly voice saying: "Hey, beautiful wake-up now people have started to arrive."

"Huh?" I say. I open my eyes and see his beautiful, green eyes. 

"Wake up people are arriving." Then it clicked and I shot up.

"Shoot shoot shoot." I run up the stairs and check my outfit and make-up then go into the bathroom and splash some water onto my face to wake myself up. Redo my make-up. And then go back into the room and check myself again. Ok time to go.

I go downstairs and stand next to Alex at the door and say hello to everyone as they come through the door. After a while we leave our posts and go and make sure everyone's ok and get drinks and sit down on the couch then people start joining us and before we know it we're surrounded by people. Alex on my right and our other good friend Chloe on my left. She's dating Parker who's sat next to her and currently asking her if she wants a drink. They're so cute. Also Parker is practically my brother and I've known him since year 6. And then there's Liam who's sat next to Parker. Liam is one of my good friends too. On Alex's left is Carter and next to him is Jamie (the leech) and next to that is her is her boyfriend for the day and next to him is Karly who is really shy and honestly at this moment in time he would rather be with her.

We are talking and laughing when I see Jason leaning against the doorframe and motions for me to come over to him so I say to Alex and Chloe that I'm going to get some fresh air and I go and meet him outside. 

"Hey come here." He says sat down on the deck with open arms and I go sit next to him and he puts his arm around me.

"Hey" 

"How are you?"

"Great you?"

"I'm good. I need to ask you something."

"Ok go on..."

Ok sorry for the short update but I thought I'd leave on a cliffhanger
